I spoke to the project manager Ziv and he was very professional I then set up an in office meeting with Ziv we discussed our options and I was very pleased with how we all worked together with different ideas and we all came with the best kitchen design hat suits my needs and wants. Will definitely recommend to all family and friends."

"The first red flag is representing himself as Steve Perez on Angi’s list when in fact his name is Ziv. There’s the hard sell and false promises (finish a kitchen remodel in 5-6 weeks) when it took 4 months. Unprofessionalism is an understatement. He communicates through texting like a teenager and screams at the client when in fact errors are his fault or his sub-contractors. We provided appliance specs very early in the process and the electrician still made errors for which Ziv wanted us to pay for. The cabinets delivered were incomplete which he blamed on us. He demanded a final payment and threatened to put a lean on our house when the work was incomplete per the contract. Then Subs starting calling demanding payment which was resolved after we provided cashed checks to Sonart Construction. Don’t believe what I say. Read the BBB review complaints for a well-deserved F rating."

"From the first contact, communication was very, very good. Found the estimate for the project to be very reasonable and competitive. The crew Luis sent to our home were prompt, courteous, respectful of our home and furnishings, and assisted in the movement of furniture to accommodate the project. Crew showed up early, took only a lunch break, and worked tirelessly to complete the job. Work was completed on time despite a small unanticipated complication. Follow up by Luis to ensure customer satisfaction was something novel I haven't experienced from any contractor. If you have a deck or patio which needs to be refurbished give these guys a call - you won't be disappointed."

He answered all of our questions about insurance, design, timeline, and costs, and once we hired him he immediately began working on mockups, ordering materials, and scheduling subcontractors. "Stay away from this company at all costs. We had a large custom solarium window that needed to be replaced as part of a bedroom and bathroom remodel. I asked for a quote from Sunshine Sunrooms. Jerry Lackey the General Manager and Danny Ortiz the Project Manager came to my house, reviewed the project, and said they could absolutely handle the job. Jerry talked about how great their customer service was, how well they communicated, how I would be kept informed every step of the way, and how smooth the process would be. Even though Jerry was more like a used car salesman than a contractor, I decided to go with them because I thought they had expertise in this area. Unfortunately, none of what they promised from a customer service, communication, or timeliness of the process standpoint never materialized. I was the one who had to constantly follow up for updates on the build, delivery, and installation of the product. Throughout that process, I was given misinformation about when shipments would arrive, the completeness of shipments, and when installation could occur. I was told that all parts had arrived only to find out after the fact key pieces were missing because they didn't inventory their shipments. I was told installers would start on a certain day only to be told the original installer refused to do the project. This delayed our overall remodel for weeks because this window had to be installed before the bathroom was completed. This left us trying to get by with limited bathroom facilities and sleeping areas. Throughout all of this, even though Jerry Lackey admitted he knew what was going on, he never reached out to apologize or offer to help rectify the situation. The only other time I heard from Jerry was when he called me to threaten me with legal action on my property because I asked them for some consideration in the overall fees due to the inconvenience they put my family through. Can't tell you how frustrating this company was to deal with and having Jerry Lackey threaten me was just the icing on the cake."
