"Our condo building was having roof leaks and Steve Case came out in Dec 2017 and gave us an estimate for a silcone roof. I was also getting quotes from 2 other companies. Due to the extremely cold weather and personal (on my part) scheduling conflicts, SPU did the work in mid-May. The guys (especially Greg) were very professional and punctual. Steve was very accommodating the whole time. The roof looks great and the price was affordable. I definitely recommend SPU!"

"It started with Jim Murphy coming to our house to discuss the kind of work we were looking to have done. He talked to us about the kind of windows he recommended for our house along with the color that would look best. He had pictures and ideas to show us so that we had a better idea of what things would look like. He did the same with the doors and the siding. He spent a lot of time with us to make sure we were going to be happy with the products we decided to have installed. We were having a communion party and wanted this work done in a short timeframe. Murphy's team went above and beyond to meet our needs. The Murphy's team that came out and did the labor worked very hard to make sure the job was done on time and that we were satisfied. After a couple of days they were like family : ) Any little problem or question we had, they took care of immediately. I can't say enough about what a great job they did. Our house looks beautiful. We had a slight problem with our siding (our own fault). We put our grill up against the newly installed siding and it melted the siding. My husband called Jim Murphy to see if we could get the siding replaced at our own expense. Jim sent his team back to our house to replace our siding within a couple of days (even though they were very busy with other jobs), free of charge. They went way ABOVE AND BEYOND our expectation. Murphy's came highly recommended to us and I'm so glad I made the call to them. We had been shopping around for new windows and Murphy's, by far, was the best all around. "They were responsive from the bidding process through to the final install of the beautiful glass shower doors.  All of tiles were laid in perfect symmetry - they measured and hand set each subway tile.  If they ran into a hidden condition, they discussed options with me and their advice was always based on experience.  They did all of the electrical, plumbing and total remodeling work.  I live in a an apartment building and they were respectful of working hours, elevator use, and my neighbors.  They came to work when they said they would and worked hard all day.  I gave them a key to my house to come and go with no reservations."

"First of all, let me start by saying that this was the first time that I have done a remodel.  When I made the big decisions about cabinets and floors, I was doing it from photos that I took.  So, when I signed the contract and John was ready to place orders, I had a moment of panic.  Do the cabinets REALLY go with the floors that I picked?  Did I just make a HUGE mistake in my choices.  Well, John was able to get me a cabinet sample pretty quickly so I could go back to the flooring store just to be sure that I was making the right choice.  He offered me a bit of advice during the process "Go with your first instinct."  He was right.  I went with all of my first choices and my place looks amazing.
I live in a high rise.  Anyone who lives in a high rise knows that there are rules about construction, scheduling elevators, and what can and cannot be done.  John was great in working with my building and not forcing me to deal with that headache.
The project was completed on time and on budget.  I am so excited about my improved space.
