"It went well! I expected it to take a long time to get it picked up, but I called for the bag to be emptied on Friday and they were here Saturday! I am already filling it up again. (We have a MESS from the storm and need to finish the kitchen before this weekend's company coming in from out of town.) I have already called them to request my bag be emptied on Friday, and they have me on the schedule! I can't believe the customer service is so great! This is not a regular dumpster company. "There was more construction work that needed to be done before painting than originally thought.  The contractor worked his way around the house making the necessary repairs, starting in the front and ending in the back yard.  This way the painters could start on the front of the house.  All construction work was top-notch and definitelyy should have been done years ago.  The extent of the repairs was a little more than what was included in the original estimate, and resulted in a $400 up-charge, but once we saw the finished product, it was well worth the extra money.  There is something to be said for peace of mind.  The house has never looked this good."

"DCR Construction was the best company I ever hired. I'll bullet point some of the highlights. * Setting good expectations for both price and timeline. Probably the most important and something I cared a lot about for the project. We added some work for change orders, but there weren't any real surprises in the price beyond a few things where the house itself was old (e.g. replacing some old wood in the framing) or things we chose to do (e.g. doing more exterior painting than we originally were thinking. The project would have actually beaten the timeline originally given to us except some of the things we ordered from other vendors took longer than we expected. This team held up their end of the bargain on timing. * Very communicative. We set up a chat group on whatsapp early between myself, Daniel, and my wife. This was great as we could get answers to things quickly, and he could communicate with us about what was coming next in the project. * Professional and efficient staff, and high quality work. All the folks I interacted with both from Daniel and the subcontractors were great to interact with. My neighbors commented that they were always respectful and friendly when working as well. All the people I interacted with seemed to care about their work and it showed in the finished work. I wasn't around for all the inspections but the ones I was around for went smoothly, and it never seemed like we were blocked on inspections or the city throughout the process. We've been living in our newly renovated house for a few weeks now and it's been pretty great. We've already been recommending Daniel to some of our friends who are considering projects. If we had to do another project, I would go straight to DCR Construction without hesitation."

"I was recommended to JD renovations from Facebook. I messaged him for a hose leaking in my basement ceiling. He showed up to my house in 10 minutes and assessed the situation. He went to the store and got the parts he needed. Came back and fixed it quick! Then I told him about my faucet running non stop and he immediately jumped on that task and fixed it right away! He’s very knowledgeable and everything came out great! And his prices were cheap!!! Plus he’s licensed and insured! Definitely call him for your needs!
