"On 9/29/24, Justin from Noble came out to install a toilet flange riser. He looked at it and told me it would be between $450 and $550. I felt that was a very high price but a toilet is a necessity. It took him 2 hours from start to finish, but over an hour of that time, he was out buying parts at a Home Depot that is only 7 miles away. I was surprised that he didnâ t have parts with him considering this is a very common plumbing problem, plus I told them what I needed over the phone when I made the appointment and specifically said that I was telling them so he could show up with parts. When he said he was done, I looked at the toilet and noticed there were no caps on the bolts that hold it down. I asked if he was going to put some on, he said that most of the time he doesnâ t. He said he would put some on if I wanted, I told him I did. Who prefers the bolts showing on their toilet??? When he was done, he advised that the amount due was $490.00. I asked what their labor rate is, he said $250/hr. It seemed really high so I asked if it was because it was Saturday. He said â No, thatâ s our regular rateâ . So I was charged for two hours of which most of that time was spent on his trip to Home Depot 7 miles away. I paid him. As he processed the transaction on his phone, I asked if I would receive a detailed receipt. He assured me I would receive a detailed receipt in an email as soon as he finished creating it. It is now a day later and I have not received anything. Very disappointing. So in short: 1) So far the toilet is functional. 2) Justin was a pretty nice guy. 3) Price for the job was awfully high. I feel the job should have been 1/2 that amount because he should have had the necessary parts. I feel gouged. 4) The worst part is that I have not received a receipt for my $490.00!!"

"My elderly mother needed a new water heater . I gave her the contact info for a great, honest plumber. But due to her dementia, she forgot and ended up having a neighbor call a plumber, they chose Albert Nahman . Two plumbers came out and spoke with her and my 85 year old uncle and they were convinced to hire them at a price of over $6k (which, if you can believe, included the "senior discount"). My mom and uncle are clearly confused and easy to take advantage of, and these guys went above and beyond to take advantage of them, charging 4 times what this job should have cost. I called and spoke to a manager and got a ridiculous story of how complicated this job was, and how they were charged a reasonable price. I took away that this company is corrupt from top to bottom. If you want to be taken advantage of, charged way more than any decent plumber would charge, and then treated like an idiot who doesn't know that they are being cheated, this is the company for you!"
