"A few weeks ago our gas hot water heater died. We had never used Valdel Plumbing before but were extremely impressed with the entire experience. We found them on Angie's list as being highly rated and there's a reason for it. We called them at 7:30 in the morning and by 11:30 AM had hot water and that's not exaggerating! Their specialist, Steve Ault was awesome and very knowledgeable. He quickly got to work dismantling the old unit. He even had a new heater and all the parts on his truck so there wasn't even a delay in waiting for parts or a new heater to be delivered. He also installed a drip pan, a pressure regulator and re-routed some of the exhaust piping for better venting. The price they charged seemed to be in line with the work performed. Obviously, based on our first time experience, we'd highly recommend Valdel and Steve for any residential plumbing work. Thanks Valdel!"

"We are very happy with the work that was done by Unique installing a new gas boiler and tying it into our 1940’s hot water heating system. The estimator Mike, took time measuring every room to be sure we get just the right size unit needed for our house. (An estimator, from another company, didn’t size all the rooms, wanted to put in a smaller boiler and at a higher cost!). The installation was painless. The work was done in one day which included removal of our old system. The new system is extremely efficient and we already have noticed significant savings on gas and electric. Great company to deal with. Would highly recommend."

I've been an electrician for nearly 10 years and I'm an owner-operated company based out of Quakertown. There is no job too small for me. A handful of jobs I take care of are outlets, switches, lights, ceiling, bath, and attic fans, electric car chargers, underground electric for outbuildings, electrical panels, service upgrades, troubleshooting and more.

"Signor DiGabriele, Bernie, and his assistant Michele arrived at our home within the hour they promised and they text us to let us know that they were not coming @ 9:30 AM. Therefore, punctuality was maintained and they entered our home with a smile. They proceeded to the second floor bathroom to replace guts in toilet so that the refill would take only 2-3 mins. Instead of 7/8 mins. We advised them to perform this job first, and they did so. Next they replaced the pipes under standup sink on second floor. They suggested steel then said plastic would last longer; so, I opted for plastic and it looks terrific and the sink no longer leaks. From third floor down to kitchen to replace all the pipes and base of sink underneath the sink was a plumbing job to be marveled at and certainly, my wife and I after they left, reviewed all three areas before they left, and we are presently totally pleased with the Bernie/Michele job, and we would definitely utilize their services again and highly recommend their total efficiency. The price was $485.00, and we have no idea whether that is a good price, but both of us being so satisfied declared the price just fine. KUDOS to both Bernie/Michele. This work was the THIRD job we obtained from Angie's list since we signed up, and to Angie, we say, thanks a million. We are Carmen and Vincent and are proud to write this review on My Plumber. <br />"

"<p>I called Mike because I need to redirect the sewage pipe in our basement.  Originally the pipe was hugging the outside wall around chest-height.  That section of the wall was the only place where we would install an egress window, and so we need to move the sewage pipe flow.  Mike came out and took care of everything very quickly.  He gave us a good price, and did a good job.  </p> <p><br /></p> <p>Also, Mike went above and beyond by looking at our water powered backup sump pump (without me even asking).  He informed me of some concerns that he had regarding how it was installed by our basement company.  His information and guidance has helped us a lot, and we plan on hiring him in the future when we install our bathroom in the basement.</p> <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Doylestown, PA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
