"Tom and his team helped me with a deck installation. His team were highly skilled and professional on this project. I also appreciated their candor Tom only quoted for labor and helped me to procure the material required for the deck install. He even transported some of the material from the lumber yard to my house at no cost (As we needed more material). As the old deck was rotting and we needed to change much more lumber than was anticipated Tom did not charge me anything extra for his efforts. They went above and beyond my expectation on this project. Tom also kept me and my wife informed about the schedule on this project. It was completed on time and within budget. "We contracted with JAM Home Services (Jeff) to repair and paint walls, ceilings and closets in the living/dining room and 3 bedrooms of our house. We also asked about installing base board where missing/damaged and also installing shoe molding in all rooms (we had just had carpeting removed and hardwood floors refinished), While his was not lowest estimate for the project, we were impressed with his knowledge, suggestions for successful completion and his professionalism. At our request, he suggested several colors that would work with the hardwood floors. We agreed on a start date, which had to be firm, to meet a specific timeline to place our house on the market. A week before start date, he checked in with us to be sure we still on schedule. As it happened, other projects were already completed, so he started a week earlier than planned and completed the project withing the 4 days he had originally estimated. We could not have been more pleased with the result! Each day, the work space was cleared and cleaned, except for drop cloths left to protect floors. He repaired a baseball-sized hole in the wall in one bedroom, repaired a crack in the plaster above a door in the living room, filled all nail holes. The paint on all ceilings, wall and closets was smooth and even - no messy corners or bleeding edges. The new base boards and and shoe molding were such great enhancements to the rooms. We highly recommend JAM Home Services for anyone with home repair or improvement project needs!"

"This was our 2nd project with Craig after having our basement refinished. Our new crown moldings have lightening above that reflects onto the ceiling. It makes the rooms look more elegant. The kitchen had ugly multi colored back splash we inherited when we purchased the house. Now, the marble back splash reflects the quality of our home in general. All craftmenship work was done at a fair price and until we were fully satisfied.Craig's workers are the best from professionalism,skill to timeliness from start to finish. We are now finalizing plans on a screened porch with a stamped concrete floor that will blend in with the home and look like it's always been there. We agreed on a price for the initial trim carpentry, interior door installation and casing along with numerous areas that required correction from prior substandard workmanship. Mike and his crew arrived early, worked diligently to provide meticulous craftsmanship. A true professional, one who takes pride in his work every step of the way through to completion. It has been my experience, that sort of dedication to home renovation is a rarity of late. He isn’t cheap and he doesn’t cut corners. "The job was done exactly as we requested.  Although, we had to pay $50.00 for removal of five (5)  2x4's and three (3) smaller pieces of  2 x 4's;  which, seemed a little high.  He cleaned up ( upon completion).  He was very friendly.  Overall, we were very well satisfied with his work.

"-- MHI Painting did a great job with my project from estimate to completion. Mike was willing to explain what he wanted to do and why he wanted to do it. I’m not a DIY person, so hearing his explanations helped me understand his proposal. -- The job consisted of repainting kitchen and family room in the same colors which I really liked but were old and needed freshening. Billy took switch plate covers to the paint supplier to get a match. It also included painting new wood trim around a recently replaced patio door. The workspaces painted included tray and coved ceilings. -- Billy’s team did an excellent job of painting and clean-up and showed respect for my property. -- This is the second time I have used MHI and they have now done both exterior and interior work for me. "Everything went great. The entire company was very friendly and helpful. Charles came to do the inspection and spent over an hour checking everything out, explaining everything he saw, making sure I understood what was wrong and what needed to be done. He was very thorough. They scheduled the work within a few days and even when we had to reschedule he communicate a plan very effectively. The job required two days, one for the mold and one for everything else. They were very efficient and did excellent work. I actually notice a big difference in the comfort of my home. "This company is extremely responsive and appears to care greatly about the job being done.
They really try to give the customer exactly what the customer wants.
I was out of town for most of the entire job; they took charge and made it happen.
They replaced the counter tops with granite and the backsplash and sink. and also performed some minor repairs to a cabinet.
I would have appreciated not having an extra join in the granite; and have now found that the nails used are breaking the wooden shelves underneath the counter.  I would have also appreciated it if the plumber did a better job with the disposal; first it was installed on the left sink versus the right and then, thanks to the positioning of the disposal tubes by them, it cost me an extra $200 to get the dishwasher examined for the grit that was remaining after the wash....only to be told that it was the positioning of the disposal tubes that caused the problem.

"I had RNL remove kitchen cabinets, and install new ones. When the old cabinets were taking out they discovered a leak years ago that was fixed by someone else but not correctly and had created a lot of mold and mildew. Tom and his crew being the professionals that they are, made sure all mold was removed, and everything was done correctly and safely. The part I liked was them explaining how they were taking steps to insure I didn't have this problem again. How reassuring that I can breathe easy knowing the work was done right. I couldn't ask for more from any company then the honesty and quality work that I received. I do wish more companies cared this much about their customers and doing a job right."
