Small jobs welcome

"Our roof is finally fixed properly. This is the third company that we have used for the same leak over a period of several years. Doug & his crew knew the correct repair necessary & so far, so good. We've not had much rain, but can see that our roof is water tight now. The crew was professional, knowledgable & easy to work with. They did a good job cleaning up the work area. Would definitely recommend ShorePro Construction."

"We considered 5 different contractors for an extensive project finishing our basement.  Wantz was one of the top two contractors we considered.  Pricing was fair and his vision matched our vision.  The biggest decision point for us was that we would have to wait 45-60 days to start and that would have impacted our plans to be finished by the 2013 Holiday season.  Otherwise, there was a good chance that we would have chosen Wantz.  Instead, we went with Brothers Services and have been very happy with the results. <br />"

"We received estimates from four contractors on Angie's List. Sand D was the least expensive (1/2 as much as the highest bidder, although the other two contractors' costs were close to Sand D's) -- and this made us nervous. After much deliberation, however, we chose to go with Dave and his crew and we are very glad we did! Dave's estimate was very detailed, he was very responsive to requests for clarification before we decided on a contractor, and his crew showed up ready, willing, and able to do an excellent job. <br /> We have not had any rain since the work was done so cannot comment on this. If we find there is a problem, we will update this review accordingly. <br />"

"The deal with Noonan Construction turned out fine. We ended up paying four rooms for what ended up being a very reasonable price. I think we ordered twice from them. I thought they were all-around great. I don't remember the name of the representative we got but he was wonderful, he was polite, he was courteous, he was friendly and he was very thorough. You know, he actually have given us a couple of different designs without an increase in the price. I guess we are very satisfied with him."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Earleville, MD

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
