"The job went more smoothly than I expected. We had to replace our front door, as well as the surrounding framing and the sill underneath do to water damage. The extent of the damage couldn't really be determined until they got into it and had removed the existing door and flooring inside, and turned up to be a little worse than hoped, which was communicated to us immediately, along with what needed to be done to repair and that it would be an additional cost. They also had to remove the vinyl siding around the door, and the electrical outlet nearby, noted the corrosion in the electrical box and replaced that as well. On both the inside and outside it is better than the original installation. Start to Finish the Job took 5 working days, although the last two days were minimal, only extended because of replacing the tile that had to be removed, and allowing it time to cure before walking on. The guys were professional and friendly and not a disruption to our busy life with kids. We're very pleased with the job, and will call Eric Higgins for additional work in the future."

His quote was very competitive and his reviews were excellent, so we selected his company to prep and paint the exterior of our house and attached garage. During the prep, Brian found several necessary repairs, met with our contractor to point them out, and worked around the contractor's schedule and work crew. Due to his experience, he was able to tell us which repairs were critical to prevent further damage and which were cosmetic. His advise was very helpful and consistent with the advise of our contractor. The completed work is beautiful and should protect our house for years to come. "Communicated via email and text to make arrangements for an estimate. Showed up on time for the estimate and setup a time for a few days later to make the repair. Must have been some mix-up on the date and time for we turned off the water and drained the lines only for a no-show. Arranged for another day. <br /> Dis-assembled the fixture and replaced the gasket and re-assembled with new seats and spring and caulked which took 2.5 hours. Stated that if it still had problems that a plumber would have to take a look at it. <br /> When testing the fixture the next day, the fixture still leaked but we discovered that it was not re-installed in the same position-need to offset the handle to turn off the water completely. The handle is very sticky now when adjusting the water temperature. <br /> The receipt for the work was a regular piece of copy paper hand-written. <br />"

"We bought a shed from Sam's Club and paid to have it assembled and installed. We had a bunch of crushed rock left over from our above ground pool and asked the shed company if we could use this as a base for the shed to go on top of. They said yes. When the guy came out to install the shed, he was surprised they said we could use that base, but installed it anyway. The floor of the shed was so uneven and bumpy. I found KM Tottle on Angies list and called them. He came right out and advised us that we needed a wood base to go underneath and that he could raise the shed and install it underneath and that would level out the floor.They came on the date and time planned and the work is excellent. The floor is perfectly level. I would hire them again in a minute. <br />"

He also went over some more in depth options if this did not solve my problem. He estimated it would take about 2 hours ($150). The job was not an emergency (we spoke in early summer and said we just needed it done and quot;before falland quot;). We discussed it being completed in a month or two. It took a little nudge to get it scheduled, but again, we expressed low priority and we discussed this just before he was on vacation for some time. When we chatted again, he came quickly, did a great job (in less time and for less money than estimated), and followed up to make sure it worked for us right away. <br /> I'd definitely hire him again - it's challenging to find quality help with small jobs like these, but that's usually what I need.
