"Robert and Josh (or John) sorry I can’t recall arrived on time after calling beforehand to let me know they were coming. They were very friendly and had a great working relationship. I asked a lot of questions and Robert was explained everything- he is a wealth of knowledge. They were professional and efficient and I was pleased with their work and attitude."

"Jason H from Humphrey Plumbing Heating and Air came right when he said he would. He installed the new ducting the same day as when he first came to give us a bid. The repairs were done professionally. We would use Humphreys again if we need hvac work done."

"Joey from SameDay came out within 1 hour and did what he could to get it working again, but it will not last long. I asked if he could give me an estimate on a new furnace and he had Larry here within 15 minutes to give me a variety of options. They were very thorough - checked the airflow and looked at the ducts. Of the 2 furnaces that it came down to, he recommended the cheaper one - said it would work great for my space. I don't hear that very often!! They will be installing tomorrow and I will do another review."

"Showed up on time, did the work quickly, and were careful not to damage the floor and ceiling below any more than absolutely necessary (and was agreed on beforehand).  Everything was done as per their estimate.  When the new work broke some corrosion loose on our old galvanized pipes and created a slight blockage down the line, they stood behind their work and repaired everything.  We are very satisfied."

"I recently began renting my home through a management company. When the AC stopped working I had my management company contact an AC company, and they chose Expert. Expert quoted $4000 to replace the AC. I then found another AC company myself (Humphrey) for a second opinion. Humphrey was able to fix the AC simply by changing the capacitor and fuse. Expert either 1) didn't bother to even look at it because the work order was coming from a management company and figured they paid whatever, or 2) did a really poor job diagnosing the problem. Either way, neither is favorable. My lesson learned as a new landlord--always find a repair company yourself."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Emory, UT

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
