Unfortunately, after repeated issues (we’ve had water getting through a basement door, water backing up from drain/sewer pipe, foundation cracks – all which were addressed) we now have had issues with hydrostatic water pressure delivering a great deal of water to our finished basement. Only one solution – drain tiles and sump pump installation. US Waterproofing was outstanding, every step of the way. They communicated clearly what was needed, and much to our surprise, what was not. They did not ever try to sell us anything that was not needed – only what was – installation of drain tile, window well drains, sump pump, and all work related. All of the crews involved were outstanding – in particular, the crews installing the drain tile and sump pump. The supervisor clearly and concisely explained every step – and when issues arose, they were dealt with promptly. The teams removing drywall and reinstalling also did very good work, and were very responsive. Everything was done correctly, and on schedule The work is now complete – and the basement is back to normal. I commend USW on all facets – they explained everything, did not try to oversell anything, and were responsive to issues as they arose. I recently moved from the state of Florida to Indiana in 2024, I've been doing masonry work for a little over 6 years now and the previous work I did before that I was a carpenter for 8 years a roofer for 6 years you can say I am a jack of all trades I love the work that I do and I'm hoping I will have the opportunity to work with some you lovely people of Indiana. "They were nice and they did a fine job but I was expecting them to do something else in addition to that and I just happen to arrive home when they were in the process of cleaning the gutters. Apparently, they did a special and they were swamped they told me and no one told me they were coming. They didn't make a call saying we're going to be there at this hour. I didn't know they were going to show up that day much less what time and I just happen to show up when they were working and I was getting ready to explain a particular procedure that I wanted on a downspout and I couldn't do that if they had come and gone without me seeing them so I was a little unhappy with that but then it turns out they don't do the procedure that we were hoping for. My wife saw the deal online. So then, I said could you contact your boss and have him call me and let me know if this is something that he could do, maybe it would cost me more money, and no one ever called back. They were just head down, their back was up and they were working hard but they weren't calling and letting us know. They just showed up to do it. I guess I'm not used to that. I was expecting more from customer service and I think that personally, I don't care how small you are especially when you're starting out. If you have to go home and eat dinner and make phone calls, that's what you do. I'm not sure if I would use them again."
