After taking us down some strange rabbit holes and confusing non-answers, they finally told us that they would not further diagnose the problem nor examine the transmission because their service policy is to replace the transmission. So, we gave up on the sleazy sales/service at the dealer and took our car to Mike's Transmission based off of a recommendation from an owner of a trusted local repair shop.
