"Cory and the whole team answered all my questions during the estimate & installation, were responsive and professional throughout the process, and delivered the new heat pump system on schedule & on budget despite the supply chain uncertainties. I really appreciate that they presented me with options and helped me to make an informed decision, with no high pressure sales or unnecessary add-ons, as well. I couldn’t be happier with my new heat pump system."

"I had a hot water leak and he came out gave me a quote and replaced it next day upon my request. And I'm still waiting on the quote from the other two plumbing outfits. If you need quick and timely service and good personnel go with these guys. The two guys that gave me the quote were installers as well so they know what they are talking about."

"We had central AC added to our home 5 years ago. We decided to get an AC and furnace tune up before the summer. Matt, the technician from One Hour Heating and Air, was on time and polite. He pointed out that our furnace filter had not been changed since 2022. Big oversight by me. Matt explained how the air flows through the furnace and the direction the filter needs to be placed. I marked with a sharpie on the furnace an arrow so I would remember next time. Positive experience."

Customers say: Super punctual

"His work was top quality with an attention to detail that was amazing. Tiles were aligned evenly and any lower grade tiles from the sheets removed and replaced individually. He had a good solution to create a better polished edge by flipping tiles so the polished side was out. Additionally, his work to hand cut each tile around our curved range hood truly makes this look like a custom designed kitchen. The pantry removal and wall replacement matches well with the existing walls including rounded corners so that it looks as if it was the original wall. Wall oven went in smoothly and he tested it carefully before he left to be sure it was working well. I highly recommend his work."

FAQs for thermostat installation and replacement projects in Everett, WA

Smart thermostats may be worth it for many homeowners. They come with various features, including voice control and smartphone apps. Vacation mode can help lower energy usage when you’re out of town for an extended period. Alert warnings let you know about major spikes or drops in temperature. Smartphone apps can track energy usage, and smart thermostats can learn your routine over time to adjust your temperature and reduce wasted energy consumption automatically.

You typically do not need more than one smart thermostat. While it’s common to see multiple mechanical thermostats throughout a large home, multiple smart thermostats may try to override each other. This can lead to problems with the HVAC system. Ensure the unit you buy has the option for dual- or multi-zoned systems to avoid compatibility issues.

Installing a programmable or smart thermostat may save you $180 per year in utility costs. A big part of this comes from a smart thermostat’s ability to learn and adapt to your regular routines. With smartphone apps or web-based interfaces, you also have the option to control your thermostat when you’re not home.
