"The technician showed up and said he had to do a complete inspection for the door before doing a proposal. He did nothing but look at the rollers, wiggle the roller and push the garage door button to see if the door opener works. When he was done he told me that the roller repair was $608.00 plus tax and would only have a 90 day warranty. If I wanted a better warranty I had to purchase a 1300$ door tune up. He said that they make there own springs is why its so expensive, however when I asked why it was only a 90 day warranty it was because I wouldn’t pay for all the services he wanted to sell me. I paid him his stupid $65.00 inspection fee and asked him to leave and have another company fixing it for 299$ with a 5 year warranty."

"Steve was recommended by a neighbor who is also in the trades. I called, left a message, he called me back within an hour. After discussing the broken torsion spring and what it would take to replace it - including me sending pictures, he quoted me a very fair price and said he would be able to come do the repair the next day at 10 AM. Next day at 10 AM, there he was on my doorstep. About 40 minutes later the replacement was complete, including some minor adjustments that were also needed, all included in the original quoted price. The door is now working perfectly. I heartily recommend Steve and his business for any and all garage door installations or service."
