A plywood support was built, scaffolding erected, the supporting column leveled, and the bricks relayed, after cleaning the mortar off of each one. Denis even embedded a metal strap into the mortar layer between the bricks. Scaffold construction was essential and nicely done. We are quite pleased with the result."
