"I suspected that the company which quoted me $7,425 for a new drain field had not researched the issue properly. I contacted Dominique from Green's Environmental Services after hours and had an excellent conversation. The following day he sent out Derek Woodruff who inspected the system, determined that the drain field was functioning well, and showed me where the problem lay. It was a malfunctioning switch on the aging sump pump, plus a failed alarm system. That afternoon Ken came out and installed the new pump and alarm, explained how the whole septic system works and how to best take care of it for longevity. "I noticed that the plumbing in one of my bathrooms was backing up and called Glenn Tatum. They came the next day checked my plumbing, tried to unblock the piping and determined that my septic tank was not working. They charged $80.00 for that service call including Angie's List discount, which I found quite reasonable. They called in their septic service division which came to my home the same afternoon and found that my sum pump was  finished. They installed a new pump, new wiring, replaced the alarm float, and pumped the tank all in about one hour. By the end of the day both my plumbing and septic were working just fine. These guys were not cheap, but they were very efficient and I highly recommend them.
