His work is high quality and he uses high quality materials. His crew cleaned up after each visit. Except for a few nails, our property was left cleaner than I had kept it. He did get backed up by the weather last winter and didn't get to us as planned, but he got is done early in the Spring as soon as it stopped snowning Mid march) and got the job done as quick as he could . "I cannot express how Carlos has been responsive to detail; not just coming at the designated time. He advised me of concerns I'd not before taken into mind with respect of the movement of furniture, electricity and cable access. He did beautiful work; there was negligible sawdust eventhough there was much carpentry to be done. The finishing touches (e.g., wall plate, cable, ceiling restoration) were perfect eventhough I'd never even considered it. I felt more than comfortable having Carlos in my home even when I was not there. He was beyond communicative; there was never a moment of doubt, even when he phoned me at the office to let me know my house's front door was WIDE open upon his arrival due to my daughter's forgotten "responsibility".. I truly believe that Carlos is beyond a handyman/carpenter/remodeler. He has evidence of his skills, integrity of his work and dedication to the craft upon which he places his name. "Craig was the second contractor out of three to come to conduct a free inspection of my basement. I contacted his company for services after  I noticed water coming through holes in the cinder blocks of my basement unfinished wall created by the prior owner having a closet system installed in this area. What attracted me to his company Initially was the personable service portrayed by his website and with speaking with him. I had already pressumed that the sump pump didn't work correctly and the basement needed to be sealed properly due to me noticing a lot of insects and snake skin in this area. Of course I learned it was worse than I thought. The difference with this company service compared to the other compainies that I had come to conduct an inspection was very noticeable. When Craig came  to my home he asked me questions to get a perspective of what issues I was really dealing with. Being that I had only been the owner of my home for a year I could only suspect what the issues were. Yet, Craig immediately took a look at the sump pump and showed me that it was definietly not properly working. He also observed all four walls and the current water drain system in place and explain how it was doing nothing for releasing the water pressure in the walls. (The first contractor I had didn't touch a thing!) Craig also listened to my concerns of the house potentially not being properly sealed and advised that he should conduct a inspection of exterior as well. Craig was the only contractor that took the information I provided and showed me how the water tracks on the wall displayed that as I suspected, the exterior was not properly sealed and was allowing water to flow over the wall and not just the holes in the motor joints of the wall. I was told adamantly by first contractor that my issue would be resolved by installing the water drain system to the interior of the house only. But as Craig showed during the performance of the work, my floor board to the basement had rotted away and created a hole to allow water (and the snake) directly into the unfinished basement area. I am greatly satisfied with work performed by Craig and his crew. Since the work has been performed I have not seen a trickle of water in my basement! Additionally, I have to say it was great to have familiar face appear with the crew, in that Craig (whom is also the owner) was in attendance of the work being performed and supervised the entire process. I admit that this display of work ethic reaffirmed to me that the job was being done right! I believe that I was given a fair price for the work and got even more. I was quoted at a $1000.00 more with the first contractor and that was just for the interior drain system on the front wall! I am certain that I went with the right company and that my water issues have certainly been solved. Thanks Craig to you and your crew; and a wonderful job well done! <br />"

"I am sorry that I do not remember the true date but it was in the spring/summer of 2010. <br /> The workers were on time and professional but being a first time home owner (which I told them), I did not know all the right questions to ask.  They had installed 15 windows and never sealed them in.  When I called back about 6 months later because I was feeling the cold come through the windows, I was told that it would cost me another $500 to seal them in.  I ask you, who installs windows and doesn't seal them in? <br />"

Two were responsive and provided written estimates (Bond Home Improvements said they would provide an estimate after scoping the job, but never did and were not responsive to f/u calls asking for status of est). Rick's estimate was clearly the most thought-out and well-considered. We added some items as the work progressed and other needs became apparent. The workers did a nice job and were helpful in making suggestions for improvements, which added to the overall cost of the project, but were ultimately a benefit to the how things worked out in he end. <br />"

"I was very excited to get brand new windows because the old ones were in such a bad state; however, since this was a big job that cost a lot of money, I was nervous at the same time. I can honestly tell you that all of the people I experienced during this process were extremely professional and I would highly recommend them. I purchased the Pella Architectural Series windows. I know that I could have gone with a vinyl or fiberglass window, but I had my heart set on Pella wood windows. These windows are beautifully crafted and have made such a difference to the look of my home, as well as the temperature. My house is so warm now and the look is truly elegant. Everyone that I encountered in this process was warm, organized, and thoughtful. Rob (the salesman) was punctual and sat with me for a few hours designing the plan. I never felt rushed or pressured. He was very patient with the revisions I kept making and even worked with me to save me money. Mike the project manager was great to work with as was Lanie the scheduler. They were always kind and respectful any time I had a question or concern. Finally, I can't say enough about the installers. Ben, Steve, and Bobby were a pleasure to work with. Their skill level is truly amazing. They worked together so well, and got the entire job done in 2 days. They kept the mess to a minimum and thoroughly cleaned up when the job was completed. It was freezing cold out the entire time and the snow was relentless; however, the weather conditions did not stop them. They worked fast and smart and I can't sing their praises enough.
