"Outstanding service!!! We tried to DIY a shower faucet leak and broke the old cartridge when trying to remove it making a small drip a full on stream of water. We had to keep the water valve for the house off until it was fixed. We called Plumb Tite for emergency repair service, and James U. was able to remove and replace the broken cartridge and the bonnet nut which we had also broken. James provided excellent service! He took the time to do the job right. After he got the broken cartridge out, James cleaned all the crud out of the shower lines before replacing the cartridge. He even cleaned out the shower head. I highly recommend!!!"

"When installing a new refrigerator, the knob to turn the water off fell off in the service man’s hand and water was going everywhere. We had to turn the water off to the whole house. In a panic I found Home Advisor and after inputting my info, Amy from Mr. Rooter called within five minutes. After looking at her schedule, she said a tech would show up in 30-60 minutes. Don’t remember the time exactly, but Mike D. showed up in about 35-45. After inspecting the problem, he gave me an estimate. He said that there was a slow leak that had messed up the drywall and he had to cut it out. He installed all new pipes, bought a 2x4 because the new box was smaller than the old box and basically redid the entire site. Mike was so nice and explained everything he did. He realized that I was stressed and made every effort to make this process as easy as he could. If the service men would have brought the new refrigerator inside, Mike D. would have installed it for me. (They came back later and there were no issues installing the new fridge). When I first got the estimate I thought it was high, but I had no choice. In retrospect, I received much more value for my money. I will hire Mr.Rooter and Mike D. for any future plumbing projects."

"When my water heater was in need of repair, I called them, they were prompt, courteous and professional. My water heater was 29 years old, no hope of a repair. I was shocked how much it cost to replace it. But I was given several options. I was told there was an issue with my vent, that there was a backdraft. I thought it was a sales pitch, so I found out how to check it my self. It was true, Carbon Monoxide was coming back into my basement. Yiikes. I went with a tankless water heater, mainly because of the warranty. The plumbers we very fast and friendly, it was complete in 5 hours. Inspection was included, of course we passed. I would recommend this company to everyone I know."

"Two Archer Plumbing plumbers came to my house to unclog a drain in my basement that used to be a toilet, but was now capped off. The cap had shot off because of a clog underground. The men that came called me when they were on their way, and then unclogged the drain by using one of their snake machines. They were both friendly and good natured guys. I had no problems and was satisfied by the end result. They even checked to make sure the clog was gone by running the machine again, and using a bucket to pour water down into the drain. Great work!

"Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was everything I couldâ ve asked for and more. Ethan was so respectful and happy to answer all my questions!! He kept me updated through out the entire process & made sure I was informed of all my options. He definitely showed me he takes pride in his job and his attention to detail in his work shows! He replaced my shower handle stem and handle. Installed a new main water shutoff valve with a pressure regulator valve, and an overflow tank, both of which entailed very restricting and difficult location and placement. "I really like the online appointment setting. My water heater pilot light would not stay lit, starting on a Saturday night and I was able to schedule a non-emergency appointment for Monday right then. The technician was very prompt, courteous and professional. He was able to measure that their was no voltage coming from the thermopile and determine that the part needed was either the thermopile assembly kit or the gas valve assembly. He also was able to help me look up the warranty information, show that my water heater was under warranty for parts still and the number to call to order the part. He also scheduled an installation appointment for the day my parts were scheduled to arrive right then. I received the estimate the next day, while waiting for the parts to come the following day after that. The installation prices seemed really high considering the price of a new water heater. The estimate for installation of both parts when they arrived, the thermopile and gas valve assembly, was $700. I canceled my appointment, knowing that if my husband and I could not put the parts on ourselves or find someone we know with water heater part experience, then I could buy a whole new water heater for that estimate price. We drained our water heater ourselves, and from there our HVAC/Furnace family member was able to install the new parts, check for leaks, refill, and start up the water heater with no problems in under 2 hours. While the customer service from Flow-Rite was very good, the high priced estimate was very unreasonable. The initial service call was worth $50, but I would not call them again based on their service prices.
