"<ol> <li>We had seen other plumbers on here, but decided to go with Robinson because we had dealt them in the past.  My husband was the only one home at the time the repairs were done, so I'm going by what he noted.  </li> <li></li> <li>Cody was on time and courteous. The garbage disposal was removed in hopes of preventing dirty water from backing up into dishwasher.  Cody installed a new sink drain and replaced the piping underneath the sink.  The diverter spout was replaced in hopes of stopping an intermittent ceiling leak from water getting behind the old diverter spout.  Cody showed my husband exactly where water was getting behind the diverter spout.  He had to leave to go pick up the diverter spout, but was finished with both that and the sink drain in about 2 hours.  Cody's prompt estimate matched the final cost, which was much lower than we were expecting.  We also haven't had any issues with either the shower leaking or water backing up since the work was completed.</li> </ol> <br />"

"I called Mr. Malozi to describe my issue and schedule an appointment. My outside faucet had been leaking when turned on. In addition, the faucet was not installed properly by a different contractor (the faucet was not fastened to the outside wall and about 2 inches of pipe was completely exposed). Mr. Malozi and another gentleman arrived at my home right on time. I noticed immediately that they were both professional, friendly, and courteous. They examined the faucet and described to me exactly what they were going to do. The work was done in about 30 minutes to my complete satisfaction. The workmanship and material were top quality. Mr. Malozi takes pride in his work and it is obvious. The price charged was exactly what was quoted to me. I believe the price was fair relative to the quality of the work. I am a stisfied customer and I will use Mr. Malozi again."

"It was a very busy period for natural gas conversions, with a list of about 200 pending jobs at the time. At first it was difficult to get hold of the person our job was assigned to, but I think eventually he managed to speed our job up a little (our oil tank had failed). It went fine from there. <br />"

"Was willing to use these guys, but another plumber was able to do the work earlier and get the hole closed up more early. Cannot give an A rating as I do not know the quality of their work. <br />"

"<p>We were ready to move to Harrisburg from Western PA. We soon discovered that one of the ancient oil boilers in our new home was leaking oil and would not work. With winter fast approaching and not yet living here, we were very concerned. <br /> We contacted UGI.They worked with us to set up the conversion, dealing with the gas company, obtaining permits, etc.. They had their work completed in about a week, but it took longer for the gas company to install the gas line. They installed a temporary electric hot water heater so we could move in. As we were now living in the house and it was getting colder, they brought us electric space heaters and when the gas company would not give us a completion date, they intercede for us and got the line finished. </p> Within 24 hours of completion of the gas line, they had our new system up & running. When summer came & we having trouble with our air conditioning, we again called them & they came within a day & repaired the problem ( a minor leak) for only $88. <br />"

"I bought a home that hadn't had the boiler serviced in 6 years.  It also is my first home with radiator heat.  UGI gave me a window of 12-5 for when their repair man would be out.  He called ahead of time to let me know he was near (at 1:30) which was great.  He serviced the boiler.  He also fixed an improperly angled vent line from the gas water heater to the chimney.  The repair man was awesome as he answered questions and was very knowledgeable.  He let me know how to bleed air from the radiators and where the shut off's were, as well as how to flush sentiment from the water heater every 6 months.  UGI's service cost was $100 less than two other "A" rated Angie's List members.  It was only $135 for the service and $25 to fix the vent line.  I figure, if my gas bill goes to UGI, why not give them a shot at service.  They were excellent. <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Fogelsville, PA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
