Some highlights: 1) Mark's proposal was the most reasonable of the three we received. 2) Mark provided some design options and suggested we go to the local stone store to be sure we got what we wanted. We appreciated his suggestions as well as his respect for our choices. 3) Mark's crew was always courteous and thorough. They also cleaned up each day and happily hosed down our neighbor's driveway per his request. 4) A few times throughout the process we had new ideas to which Mark provided his advice and updated cost estimates. For an additional $850 we were able to add more value to the final product. "mail.We originally contacted the contractor near the end of April since my wife and I wanted to get some stumps removed from our back yard and to replace the fence. We were also wondering if we needed to get the large spruce tree at the front of the house cut down since it was leaning and shedding alot of needles. Ben came out and gave us an estimate for removing the tree, grinding and removing the stumps in the yard, taking down the fence, and grading the sloping back yard, which is what we also wanted.
The quote we received was complete, and stated that it was good for 60 days. Well, work ramped up, and we weren't able to get fence quotes as well as a boundary survey completed until mid to late June after we came back from vacation.At that point, we had decided to leave the tree alone, since we were told it was healthy and not a danger. We also found a fence company we were comfortable working with.
Two days after the 60 days was up, I both telephoned and emailed the company with a revison of the original quote (minus the tree removal)  and said that I hoped that that quote was still good, and that we would like to get the work done within two weeks to coordinate with the fence contractor.
I didn't get any response, so I again left a voice mail.
I understand that it is a small family-owned business, but I would hope that someone would check both email and voice messages at least once a day.  Email is great, but it still doesn't beat the personal touch of a real person's voice on the phone.
I'd still like to hire them, and I know that I let time pass before deciding to hire them, but I would appreciate some contact, please.

"s was my first job.  I understand how things will work in  the future.  The serviceman put in the fence post with quick dry cement, but he was not able to install the hardware to the new post to hang the fences.  Although I have had no fence for 2 weeks it was no one's fault. I am using the same company to finish the job.

"Kargmans provided a handyman, Alex and his helper, Gerson, to install a storm door, hang kitchen cabinets and replace a mailbox. They did outstanding work and I am extremely pleased with the results. Alex and his helper, Gerson, worked in 95 degree heat to remove my old storm door and frame; repair the entryway; and install a brand new frame and double-paned Pella storm door. This downstairs doorway has always been very difficult to work as it is stucco and uneven. Alex conquered each challenge he encountered. He and Gerson created a professional, precise result with which I am extremely pleased. Both men took extra time with the fine details. After installing the downstairs storm door, they hung my kitchen cabinets, replaced my mailbox and painted the mailbox post. Excellent, excellent, excellent work and a great attitude!!! Alex advised me on the challenges that they will face and the time it will take next week when they will work on the front door. I look forward to having them work on the front entranceway next week."

NO WORK DONE.  I need a written estimate of  all cost to start and complete the job , I need three written estimates . from three different companies to install a wooden fence for my back yard.  Do you have a company that install  fences only. I will then decide.            Please respond.    ASAP
