Had 4 different guys from this company doing various work - all very respectable and they did a great job! Liked them so much had them install softener and repipe old outside piping after bath remodel. Will never use another plumbing company. Will only use API!"

"This was a BIG project. We had just purchased a new house and found out within the first 6 hours that it had polybutylene. That material is notoriously brittle (there was a class action lawsuit filed and won about it). At the end of the day that meant that we were subject to a major rupture at any time, and we were less than happy about it. We decided to re-run all the hto and cold water pipes through the house to avoid any issues.  <br /> We went to several providers to get quotes, and only reached out to organizations that had strong ratings on Angie's List. We met with 5 organizations. As this was such a huge project, we really wanted to be sure we were comfortable with the provider. Jon came out to do a walkthrough and generate the quote. He walked through the house with me and gave thoughtful explanations about how they'd approach the project. He took his time and answered all of my questions, and provided the quote exactly when he said he would.  <br /> They were not the least expensive quote, but we knew we'd prefer to work with them. We negotiated just a little bit and came up with a workable agreement for both of us.  <br /> The project started on time, but did take longer than expected. Due to the alignment of the walls between the first and second floor (something that was not apparent until the walls had been opened up) the project was extended a bit. <br /> The project was huge and it was a major mess, but these guys did all that they could to keep everything as clean as possible. The team here was great about answering any questions that we had, and there were many. They kept us informed as the project progressed, and walked us through any tricky challenges as they came up.  <br /> There was a portion of the project that required another provider to come in to do some work and for J&H to come back after to install a shower valve. I was concerned that they'd put us lower in the priority list for that last bit, but they were in fact extremely responsive and set up an appointment right away.  <br /> I wouldn't wish this type of project on anyone, but if you have to do it I highly recommend J&H Plumbing to get the job done. <br />"
