"The senior pool technician who came out to diagnose and repair my swimming pool was was exceptionally technically proficient.  He was able to quickly determine precisely what was wrong with my pool equipment.  Aqua Haven then provided me with a very accurate estimate for the cost of the pool repair and after I agreed to have the work done, they ordered the necessary parts.  A few business days later after the parts arrived, Aquahaven sent their technician back out to complete the repair.  Once again the senior technician was fast and proficient as he made the repair.  The parts they brought out were brand new and of the highest quality.
I've had to deal with various contractors maintaining this swimming pool, often companies will cut corners by using unskilled laborers as repairmen and or by using  cheap refurbished parts.  As I've already mentioned, this was not the case with Aqua Haven.
I'm very happy with the price and quality of the repair service I received.  My pool is now running better than it has in the 10 years I've had it.

"I decided that I wanted a standby electric generator for my house. Not knowing anything about generators, I began looking for advice on exactly what I should purchase. After talking to several electrical contractors, Tri-City was obviously the most knowledgeable on the subject. Chad (of Tri-City) helped me choose the right generator for my situation, with no promise that I would use him to do the installation. He and his brother Jason came by here to look at my situation and didn't try to get me to commit to anything or try the old trick of "We'll knock off the charge for the estimate when we do the installation". After I had chosen a generator and had it delivered, (I got it from electricgeneratorsdirect.com), Chad and Jason came out here and built a wood-framed gravel pad, made sure it was level and attractive, then moved the generator from my garage and placed it on the pad and did all the connections that were possible before the gas company came to perform some necessary modifications. After the gas was hooked up, they returned and completed the installation. Not only did they do an outstanding job, they stayed around for a couple hours testing it to make sure it was working properly. I no longer have to think about who I will call when I need anything electrical done! These guys are head and shoulders above any other electrical contractor I was able to find!"

"I had a mess! Right before Christmas my guest bathroom was a disaster there was a leak that was causing mold and damage to my bathroom ceiling. Tiffany stepped right in and made miracles happen! Her people came in found the source of the leak in my shower repaired it professionally in a timely manner and for a more than reasonable cost considering the damage. My bathroom looked great when family and friends came over for the holidays. Thank you for your hard work! I can not wait to refer you to friends and family!

"I have had them for 19 years. I have had a number of issues, primarily with my air conditioning systems. It can be really costly to repair, so I have kept my policy intact. They have also made repairs to my microwave oven, my garage door a couple of times, plumbing, and electrical. They are always there for me and have been pretty responsive to get somebody to come out and fix whatever is broken. It can be as quick as the same day or 2-3 days later, it all depends on when I call and what type of service I am asking for. You have to go through a call center and push this and that. The call center could use some improvement. It's like a robo call. Once you talk to a human, they are pretty professional."

FAQs for hot tub or spa repair or service projects in Franklinton, NC

To keep your hot tub in top shape, replace the filter annually and inspect the shell for any cracks. Test the water quality weekly, and schedule a professional service annually for $100 to $200. Consistent upkeep protects performance, ensures safe operation, and helps you avoid more expensive repairs down the line.

There is no single “correct” number, but a good rule of thumb is to use up to 30 jets per massage pump to provide balanced pressure and full-body coverage. Focus on jet quality, placement, and pump power rather than simply counting jets—the right mix delivers a soothing, efficient massage while keeping the system running smoothly.

When weighing repair versus replacement, start by comparing the total repair cost and the frequency of problems with the price of a new tub. If the spa is under 10 years old and the fix costs less than half the price of a new model, repair usually makes sense. Frequent breakdowns or repairs creeping toward new-tub pricing—especially when replacements can exceed $16,000—are strong indicators that it’s time to invest in a new unit.

With proper care and maintenance, a hot tub can last anywhere from five to 20 years. Plan for an annual professional service visit to address water-quality issues, component problems, or warning signs as soon as they appear. Staying on top of routine hot tub maintenance protects performance, safety, and long-term value.

You should consider replacing your hot tub pump if you notice unusual noises, a sudden drop in water pressure, or leaks near the pump housing. These key warning signs indicate that circulation is compromised, so call a professional hot tub repair expert promptly to keep the spa running in top condition.

A well-maintained hot tub heater lasts between seven and 10 years. You should always ensure the water’s pH is balanced and schedule yearly check-ups to maintain efficient heating. Catching minor issues early and scheduling regular hot tub professional maintenance helps the heater stay reliable and can prevent additional repair costs.
