"After having Florida Leak Locators come out and patch our pool over the last few years, we decided to go ahead and take care of the overall problem. This happened to be mostly our skimmer and some areas of grout. They were kind enough to take the amount that we had spent on patches with them and put it towards the overall bill for repair. They were able to get me scheduled within 2 weeks, which considering the items they had to do would take a whole day, that's pretty good scheduling. They sent out Angel who was there promptly on time early in the morning. The work was done in timely fashion and as a added bonus, he found some of the work didn't need to be done and instead of still charging the same, they reduced the bill some amount to compensate. "He came out and was able to find our leak in 5 minutes! I had previously checked with red food coloring in the areas he checked, but the leaks were so light, it was hard to detect with a drops of food coloring.
Even though he found the two leaks and patched them, he also checked thoroughly around the rest of the pool to make sure there were no other leaks. He was very positive and pleasant to work with, and also told me a few other things about my pool pump and area (it's a new house and we're still learning). In this particular case, he did not need to dive into the pool to search for the leak, but he mentioned he was prepared to do so if he had been unable to find it along the edge of the pool.
