"Installers showed up quickly, needed only 1/2 day to remove old, inoperative hardware and install the new. They gave clear instruction, and repeated the salesman's promise of a check-in follow-up visit in about 30 days. 60 days later I began calling people. I had questions about the water. I was passed around like a basketball in pre-game drills, with several theories and more promises, and EXCUSES. After 6 months, a service manager appeared, tested the water in my presence, said it is ok. Further, he explained that others to whom I'd spoken didn't want to make the 5 hour round trip. (Wasn't a problem for the installation which got them PAID! Once they had the $$, it was too much trouble)."

"Vince was willing to look at the situation and see what he could do, although his own recommendation was to remove the covers.  When he arrived he removed one section and showed me the encrusted debris blocking the slits and advised me that blowing would not suffice to remove it. We were about to part amicably and with a fair payment for his time, but he could see that I was disappointed and asked what I was going to do.  I said I would probably try to screw up my courage, borrow a ladder and go up and clean them off by hand myself, as I had done with a more accessible section.  He offered to have his partner, Jamie, go back and do that, and then blow off the loose debris.  He warned me that some of it would get into the gutter, but was honest in telling me that the inside of the gutter was in tolerable condition.  He was clear that he could not guarantee the performance of the gutter covers after this operation, but I understood that and was willing to take the risk.
Vince was honest, clear about the pros and cons of what I wanted done, but at the end of the day did not want to leave unless I was satisfied.  He went the extra mile to gain my satisfaction, and did not charge extra for doing more than he had originally promised.
There have been a couple of fairly hard rains since the covers were cleaned, and their performance was much improved.  I am grateful to Vince for his flexibility and his commitment to customer satisfaction."

"Because of plumbing work done previously in my split foyer house, large sections of walls and ceilings in laundry room, bathroom and family room had to be cut to replace the drain pipes.  I e-mailed Anthony explaining what I needed.  He responded right away and came to my house the next day to look over the project.  He was very professional and gave me an estimate on the spot, the charge for materials and labor was less than I had expected.  The drywall crew came three days later as agreed.  They were careful to keep a dusty type of work as clean as possible and completed the major portion of the job in one day.  Part of a second day was required for the final sanding and painting.  The workers were very professional and they did a great job.  In fact they went above of what I had expected. "Choice Home Warranty presents their company as the best home warranty. The sales pitch I received on the phone multiple times and in my countless e-mails that they sent. The information stated that repairs are done at times on the same day. I did purchase the warranty in June 2023. I called for my first service on July 21st. When my washer was draining the water my kitchen sink filled up with the water the washer was draining. I was then told that the job is sent out and we wait 24-48 hours for the response with an appointment. So I waited and followed up with a call to Choice. I was told no one had accepted the job. I received a phone call from Falcon Plumbing asking if I still needed service? I said yes!! The service was scheduled on July 26th. That is 5 days after my request for service. Not the same day not right away 5 days later. The young man that came out was very efficient . He cleared the pipe and asked me to run the washer to see that the water did not back up into the sink again. Problem solved. I did pay the required $75.00 for the service. I am very disappointed that Choice sounded like it was better than other home warranty co. I realize that Choice was not concerned with getting my repair right away. I have had a home warranty on my home since I purchased it 5 years ago. I think they are just like protection plans you purchase on a home appliance. Everyone will explain how you need this so much when they are trying to sell it to you. Hoping you never need to use it...Bad first experience."

"Communication with the provider was very spotty -- it took 2 or 3 e-mails before we would get a response but I'm not sure that in the midst of summer when they are at their busiest is a good time to have expected immediately responses.

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
