Customers say: Quality work

"Ken and Carlos from Top Line Glass were great. They are primarily in the business of installing glass shower doors but accepted my job for hanging mirrors and artwork. They had the tools needed, collaborated with me, made good recommendations and even vacuumed up the minor dust. They treated my home like it was their own."

"Kyle was very courteous and helped explain what I could do with a wood rotted window. Explained how I could try to fix the problem step by step. Even though I didn't schedule this time I definitely will call back another time and recommend him to others.

"Arrived on time, JD and another worker quickly removed the window and the rotten wood. The new frame was placed and the same glass replaced. The finished product is beautiful. The cost was very reasonable. He never pressured us to buy a new window which would have cost much more. They cleaned up all the rotten wood and there was no trace that they had even been in the house. Thanks JD it was beautifully done.

"Very well. They are craftsmen. Put up plastic barriers to keep down the dust in the rest of the house. They did a wonderful job. Our new bath looks beautiful. His designer helped me turn my ideas into real world structures. The materials they used and the workmanship of their installation is first class. They are a little more expensive than some but they can do all the things you want them to and do them correctly. We are very pleased with their work.

"They did a pretty good job installing. When I had a problem with it they pretty much shoveled it off and shoveled it off and never did anything. The follow up, they sent a guy over and he took the trim of the door, took some pictures and left. Every time I called them they said, "We got your file right here, somebody will be calling you!" I finally gave up and fixed it myself. They last came here over a year ago."

"The guys did a great job. I didn't think the bathrooms could look as good as they did after the remodel. They took both rooms down to the studs. I had both bathtubs removed and replaced with showers. They installed Onyx for the shower walls and basin. It looks fantastic. I also had new sinks and toilets installed. Both bathrooms are very small and Nick was very careful about the measurements so everything would fit in the space allotted. I told him the shower heads I wanted and the type of stools and sinks. Everything is exactly as I wanted. I picked out the lights, mirrors and medicine cabinet. They also installed new tile floors which look great. The job took about two weeks which I thought was very good for complete tear outs and remodels. Scott and Dennis were so careful to keep everything as clean as possible. All of the debris was removed each day. They would put down tarps and plastic to keep the carpet and floors as clean as possible. Before they left they dusted and ran the vacuum. The owner came by to inspect the job after the work was finished. I felt like Scott and Dennis went above and beyond to do an excellent job and I would hire this company again in a heartbeat."

FAQs for glass shower door or enclosure repair projects in Gardner, KS

The type of glass shower you choose depends on your household size, lifestyle, and budget. Custom designs and frameless doors will cost more to install and repair. Framed glass shower doors can be a more budget-friendly option.

If your glass shower has many people using it daily, you also want to opt for durable glass options, and you’ll need to stay on top of maintenance and repairs.

Regular cleaning and sealing are key to keeping a glass shower door in its best shape. A glass shower door looks great in modern bathrooms, but when the glass is covered in dried water spots or smudged fingerprints, it can make the entire bathroom look messy.

  • Apply water repellent: Water repellent costs about $5 to $10. Use it to help wick away water droplets from the glass.

  • Squeegee the walls: Keep a squeegee in the shower, and use it to remove water from the glass after each shower; this only takes a few minutes.

  • Weekly cleaning: Each week, use a glass-safe cleaner or a foam cleaning eraser to scrub down glass shower walls.

  • Monthly cleaning: Check caulking and reapply as needed to prevent leaks, particularly for frameless doors. Clean the tracks to prevent the door from sticking.

There are several glass treatment options out there that can make it easier to keep your glass shower door clean. Treatments can help keep soap scum, corrosion, and pesky little fingerprints at bay. You might pay as much as a 30% upcharge on the price of your glass shower door to add a protective coating.

Even with a protective coating, you have to clean your shower. If you are diligent about wiping down shower walls after use and giving the glass a more thorough cleaning every week, you can likely save money and skip the added glass treatment.

If your shower endures heavy use from multiple family members and guests, a protective coating can make it easier to keep the glass spotless.
