Moore recommended the replacement system that would be more durable and require lower maintenance over time, and wrote a detailed proposal with a floor plan documentation. We were given financing options at the time of signing the agreement, as well. The team- five technicians!- were properly suited with protective gear and followed COVID protocols at all times on our property, inside and out. They wore shoe protectors while inside, kept us fully appraised at every task (all interior registers replaced in 11 rooms), and were extremely respectful of our space, privacy, pets, and kept noise and speaking to low levels. (our extremely friendly indoor cat got lots of attention from the team!) The work required three days to fully replace all ductwork in a two-story home with attic and crawl space, and Paul the team leader would check in with us each morning with a briefing of each days' activities. The entire team was constantly in learning mode, with the senior technicians mentoring and teaching the younger team members, which greatly impressed me. They finished on time and without any delay or disruption; they cleaned each work area and removed all debris, packaging, and the old system. We've owned this house for 20 years, had many repairs and replacements, and Moore has raised the bar so far for quality and value. "Rick (Ricardo Mora), the owner of American Heating & Air, came to my house to look at a very old gas wall heater and give me an estimate. I was having a problem with it turning on automatically from the thermostat but not always turning off. Another company had refused to even look at it because of its age and told me I had no option other than replacing it, which is not something I can afford to do at this time. Rick not only looked at the heater, and figured out a couple of possible reasons why it didn't always turn off, but he actually disassembled the whole thing to inspect the inside of the furnace and make sure it didn't have any cracks or holes in it, and then put everything back together again. He adjusted the air intake and gas pressure and inspected and fixed the thermostat which had loose screws. Lastly he looked at another old wall heater identical to this one and secured the front panel which was loose. Now the old furnace is working just fine and he saved me thousands of dollars of expense. I also now know more about the inner anatomy of a gas wall heater and how it works than I ever wanted to know! I am extremely grateful for his help and highly recommend his company. Rick is knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, punctual, and generous with his time. He went way beyond the call of duty to help me out. These old heaters won't last forever and I would have no qualms about hiring this company to repair or replace them. "Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit.
