"Javier was very fair and reasonable. Javier was hired to stucco a front and back wall of our home that had vinyl siding. The job he was hired for turned out to be more work than realized but Javier was up for the challenge. Javier removed some vinyl siding and found a ton of rotting wood which he replaced prior to stuccoing the wall. Javier and his team worked diligently and provided reasonable cost for additional work that was needed to complete the job. Highly recommend"

"We had JC Masonry replace our fireplace. Cathi was great at responding promply. Joey was meticulous about his work, and did a great job! Working with them was like working with family. I wish I could attach pictures, because the end result was unbelieveable! I would definitely recommend them! In fact, I plan on using them again this summer to replace several retaining walls. Just good people!"

"Rick is an extremely talented mason. We are very satisfied with the work Rick and Randy did on our house in New Tampa. Rick gave us a reasonable estimate, recommended the brick we should use, gave us options regarding styles , etc. We accidently ordered the wrong type of brick - Rick worked with the brick supplier to pickup/return/refund the old brick and deliver the correct brick to us. Rick and Randy show up when promised. They are very punctual which is a big deal to me. Rick kept me informed daily on the progress of the job. They cleaned up after themselves nightly. Nothing but highest praise for Rick and Randy. I would absolutely recommend them to my neighbors. <br />"

"We had a small piece of the rock pattern masonry fall off of our home and I reached out to Brickmaster Masonry for a quote to repair it. I was able to send pictures to Ben to get the quote which was reasonable and the next day Ben came out and was able to fill in the missing rock pattern with an exact match of the existing rocks in about an hour. I am very happy with the finished product and it was all done at a very good price. I would definitely recommend Brickmaster Masonry for any project. - Thanks Ben."

"I couldn’t be more satisfied with my new exterior siding. I have K&E Repair Solutions to thank for that! Ed performed a detailed examination and review of my existing siding (Masonite). He and his crews removed the old siding and replaced it with Hardie plank. It was a great experience from beginning to end. The crew arrived on schedule and within several weeks, due to weather, the project was completed. The work flowed very smoothly. Everything that was promised, was delivered! They cleaned up the debris around the yard and were careful to get all the nails. Except for the sign in the yard and new siding you wouldn’t have known they were here! From giving an affordable quote, providing great work and being very professional throughout the process - They’ll be my choice for future home repairs & projects. Please call K&E for all of your projects."

"Beautifully, from start to finish. They referred us to a paver company where we selected Travertine pavers. The owner came before the work to determine the crews needed. Two teams came, one to empty the pool, remove the old coping (edges) and cut and install new ones. The other team removed the cement pavers and replaced them in a "French Country Classic pattern. They also put in a sidewalk to the patio from the street. We were so pleased with their quick, excellent work that we asked them to replace our front walk with some of the leftover Travertine."

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Gibsonton, FL

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
