If you need quick and timely service and good personnel go with these guys. The two guys that gave me the quote were installers as well so they know what they are talking about."

"The furnace went out just before the Thanksgiving holiday and I was expecting family over for the weekend. I contacted Cummins and they were able to come out the day after. They said they would be able to repair my furnace but indicated that it was fairly close to end of life. For the price of repair, they recommended a replacement. Since I were to replace the furnace I always wanted to have AC and they gave me a great deal on both. They were able to replace my furnace the same day and returned a couple of weeks later to install the AC unit. However, shortly after my guests left after the holiday they furnace failed. I called them to let them know it wasn't working, so they send someone out to look at it. I explained my disappointment but assured me they would make it right. They ended up replacing the circuit board and the thermostat. Even though I experienced a bit of a hiccup, they were very easy to work with and stood behind their work and product. Everyone at the company that I spoke with was very helpful and friendly. I am happy with the results thus far and would recommend them to anyone that is in the market for a furnace and/or AC unit."

"We had an overall ok experience with Hunt's Services. Scheduling felt impersonal. After I tried to contact them through Angi, a system-sent text message directed me to their website to start the communication process all over again. Eventually someone did call to set up an appointment. Their system does not, however, appear capable of offering an appointment time or even a time window. They only offered a scheduled day and then 30 minutes notice when a technician was on their way. Fortunately, I am able to work from home and be flexible about breaks, so this worked ok for me. But for someone who needs to actually go to work or run errands, they may not be your best option. Pricing seemed a bit high. The cost to replace our leaky faucet was at the high end (or possibly higher) of what the internet seemed to indicate was normal for that service. Also, I didn't really need the faucet installed, since I'm reasonably handy at these things. I only needed the old one removed since it was apparently damaged and stuck in place (they eventually needed a Sawzall to remove it). But that service wasn't on their pre-defined menu of procedures, so full replacement was the only option they were able to quote. We needed the leak fixed, so we chose to have them complete the entire job rather than seeing if we could find someone else to do the work. Workmanship was decent. The replacement faucet was installed without leaks. The drain stopper was installed backwards, however, which meant that it couldn't be removed for cleaning or maintenance. I needed to partially disassemble the drain in order to correct this. It wasn't a big deal, but didn't feel like it should be necessary. All that being said, the leak that existed when they showed up was no longer there by the time they left. The technicians themselves were courteous and efficient. So they did fulfil our primary need in hiring a plumber. But we'll probably look at other options, or at least get more quotes for comparison, the next time we need something like this taken care of."

"Jack was prompt, courteous, professional and efficient. He checked the electrical issues: fixed the wired in smoke detectors that had been beeping, examined the furnace and replaced the outlet to a child-proof outlet. I was worried about the electrical panel but it was functioning properly. Jack found a battery put in incorrectly in the smoke detector and the system then worked properly. The furnace issue was not due to the electrical panel so I contacted a furnace company that ended up replacing the control panel in the furnace that was faulty. Jack also fixed a cupboard door that had come off the hinges. Once Jack checked out the electrical panel, and found the error of the smoke detectors I felt relieved. He did a great job of finding the problems and solving as much as he could. I had the furnace co. replace the control panel and now all is working very well. Jack was great--so quick and professional.

"Rafael came over the same day that I called. He is knowledgeable, professional and answered all my questions and concerns. He checked for moisture indoors and along the wall outside to determine what caused the problem and to rule out a deeper issue such as a leak or moisture problem. There were peculiar variations in the moisture readings taken on the cement slab so he recommended calling California Leak Detection company for further investigation into possible leaks. (A plumber from Ca. Leak Detection charged $200. to come to the house. He did not use any instrumentation. He was not able to detect any reason for a problem in the closet. I wouldn't use Ca. Leak Detection again.) I appreciated the time and care that Rafael took and he didn't charge me for coming to look. I have spoken with Rafael since and I may use his company to clean and disinfect the carpet."
