Hi! The cost to refinish a standard 5ft tub in white or off white, would be $399. This assumes that the tub is not a jetted tub has not been done before (if it has, it will need to be stripped, add $100); and that the tub is in good shape structurally (no leaks, major cracks, or drainage issues). If this is a clawfoot tub, the above would apply to the inside only. To include the tub surround or if this is a 1pc fiberglass enclosure unit, add $250. If the work is different (sinks, counters, tile work etc.) we will need details and pictures, if you can. We'll get you a quote quickly. Our tubs come with a 5 year warranty, the job can take up to 4-5 hours to do, and cures in 16 hours to use. We use an acrylic urethane called GlassTech9000 and we also do the caulking, when applicable. We've been in business almost 50 years, refinished over 200,000 tubs, and have an A+ rating with the BBB. Call or email if you need any further info. Have a great day, we appreciate your interest! Thanks! Tom

"Overall it was excellent. They were very careful about making sure that we selected the right combination of products for a pool meant for a good lifestyle. They took into consideration that we had small children. We had a pool forty years ago and had steps that were narrow. So they put in a trim tile so that the steps could be identified easily. They were able to start my job in about a week after we made our decision of the renovation. The owner was actually a woman. They completed the renovation within four days. I thought that was pretty good. She came by everyday to check on the work. I thought the price was reasonable. The materials they used were very good. I would absolutely use their services again in the future."

"I was searching Home Warranty providers after a bad experience with my 7 year, soon to be terminated "former" Fidelity Home Warranty service provider. Warranty service providers are essential, for they step in and "act" when life deals you an "Oh Crap" situation like your refrigerator suddenly quits. Every high dollar appliance in a home has a life span that will end whether your prepared for it or not. It's a common occurance that leads to unexpected higher debt concerns while you frantically attempt to save your food from going bad. Got a minimum of $1,700 to get a new one? A truck or a really good friend to borrow theirs to pick it up? Plus time to allow it to achieve proper temperature to transfer your temp sensitive food! Well if you haven't experienced this type of event, in your life, you will! I began by doing some easy research online like searching for best Home Warranty providers. I put some inquiries out to prospective providers and as expected, the sales calls began to ring on my phone. They all have why "they" are the best provider - so take notes and compare policies. Ask whether they cover swimming pools, septic systems, roof repairs etc. So my phone rings with an out-of-state area code and it's Zach from Choice Home Warranty. While on the call, this enthusiastic salesman hit all the "trigger" items I was looking for; *Annual Service Price *Price per claim deductable *Response time You know, all the "need to know" info that helps you make an informative decision. I started paying $550/year 7 years ago in 2014 with my old service provider. The per claim fee was $65. Today in 2022, it's $710/year and $85/claim. Was it worth it you ask? If I figure the math, my total cost over 7 years and only 4 claims was $4,450 or $636/year. This cost paid to replace my pools salt cell and chlorine generator ($1,800 in parts alone), 2 separate Air Conditioner repairs which replaced the coil fan motor, a circuit board replacement, system coil cleansing, relays and a capacitor. (No idea of how much my total cost would have been. I paid $65 twice. Nice huh?) 1 roof repair that replaced the "Cricket", which is a 15' roof section elevational change just below the ridge line. It's important to remember that these repairs don't include "hidden costs" which are personnel and service labor rates. Something you will pay for without a Warranty Service. Here's the best part of the call from this AWESOME salesman. He offered me 6 year "fully transferable", rate locked for life" service policy that when divided out by 6 is LESS THAN WHAT I WAS PAYING ANNUALLY, 7 YEARS AGO!!! So, is a Home Warranty plan a safe bet??? I have a 9 word answer for those without a Choice Home Warranty service plan. YOU BET YOUR DRIPPING SWEATY BUTT CRACK IT IS!!! Props to Zach, YOU DA MAN!!! "Mark, the owner of the company, arrived when he promised and completed an installation of a new pool pump/motor for our above-ground pool. He also completed some additional work on the pool connections after traveling to secure additional parts. Mark only charged us for the parts; no additional labor. In addition to completing the work in a professional manner, Mark returned to our home the next day to verify that everything was running smoothly, make any adjustments necessary, and offered some pointers on pool maintenance. B&M is now our new pool service company."

"Chilly did a FANTASTIC job cleaning my pool and replacing filter grids after heavy rainfall flooded my pool with mud from the hill above my house. Joe assessed the situation (pool water was murky brown thanks to so much mud), cleaned it, replaced some damaged grids, balanced the water’s chemicals. It was sparkling when he finished. He clearly explained everything as he did the job. I have used three other pool companies and Chilly did the best job by far."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"In October 2013, Robert sent me an email stating my service had been scheduled for 11/06/13 and he wanted me to confirm the date. I was a bit unsettled at the thought that if I had not read this email when I did and responded immediately, someone would have shown up at my house unannounced to perform a job I had not discussed with them. I called immediately and explained I was not ready and had stated that when I purchased the deal. Robert said he understood and would wait to hear from me. In February, I contacted Robert to explain that due to the extreme winter we had, my plans for the work had been postponed and that I would be in touch. Robert assured me my deal would not expire and to call him when I was ready. In recent months, I revisited the reviews for Rovase and became unsettled again at the poor service and communication reviews this company had received from other customers after I purchased the deal. I especially did not like the tone of provider in his responses to the complaints made by some unsatisfied customers. It reignited the doubts and uncomfortable feeling I had after receiving the first email in October, and I decided I did not feel comfortable working with them after all."

FAQs for swimming pool or accessories repair or service projects in Glenmoore, PA

A well-maintained, correctly sized pump lasts eight to 12 years. Help it reach the upper end of that range by cleaning the strainer basket, monitoring for unusual sounds, and verifying that the pump’s flow rate matches the filter's specifications. Address leaks or pressure dips quickly—minor fixes now cost far less than a premature replacement later.

Listen for grinding or screeching, watch for breaker trips, and keep an eye on sudden spikes in your electric bill—any one of these signals the pump needs attention. If repairs continue to accumulate or the unit is older than eight years, replacement often makes more financial sense. Contact a qualified pool repair professional immediately to diagnose the issue and prevent further damage to the filter or plumbing.

It’s best to keep your pool pump on while swimming. Keeping the pump on while you swim allows the filter and skimmers to catch debris in real-time, maintaining water features flowing. It’s not mandatory, but weaving swim time into your regular eight-to-12-hour schedule helps maintain crystal-clear water and consistent chemical levels without extra effort.

Start by shutting off the power at the breaker and verifying with a voltage meter. Close the water valves, bleed pressure, and unbolt the old pump. Wire the new unit according to the manufacturer's diagram, glue in the PVC unions, prime the housing, and tighten everything securely. Open the valves, flip the breaker, and watch for steady water flow and quiet operation. If any step feels beyond your expertise, consider hiring a licensed electrician or pool technician.
