We had 3 other companies come over and giving us high quotes telling us to replace our 2 year old unit. Matthew Roberts came and assessed the problem correctly and fixed the issue at a reasonable price and we are extremely happy with their work. Michael and Brandon were our technicians and they were amazing. They made sure all our questions were answered and didn't leave until everything worked properly. "We unexpectedly had A/C that was no longer cooling. I emailed over the weekend and they called us and came out Monday morning. Our A/C unit needed to be replaced. We'd used Service One for maintenance for several years and knew their work was great. This service continued. The 2 men worked all day and into early evening to get the old unit out and the new unit in and new upgraded variable thermostat (I love it!). Alfredo didn't try to up-sell us into something we didn't need. The 2 guys that did the work were a great team working together to get it done. Completely cleaned up everything. They installed entire new drain line, outdoor and indoor unit. I nicknamed one the A/C STAR LORD! J.P was awesome too. thanks service one. We'll continue to send our business your way."

"Ken called before he came and got here on time. He was alone as he said his helper was not to be there today. He worked hard. Explained everything about my AC unit inside, air ducts and advised of things I could make it better and also what things my regular service checks should look for. He opened and cleaned the entire ac unit of ducts, sucked out, did each register, cleaned those outside and sucked and cleaned out with a roto brush while sucking. Put all back together. Little mess. I just swept floors and vacuumed a bit. His units to decrease mold installed are so much cheaper than any others! This guy is great and busy. Only Takes checks or cash, but only $199.00 for unlimited ducts /one unit. He works hard and alone took 3 hours! Good work. Sanitize also! House is clean! Thank you ! Telling my Neighbors!"

"We bought a home that unfortunately had 2 units over 20 years old. We received a letter and coupon from Service Star for annual maintenance (addressed to previous owner). We had not been having any issues with our AC but thought maintenance was pretty important, especially with summer coming. Louis came out on Tuesday, April 28th and did a thorough inspection of our units. He was very friendly, engaging and we felt confident and convinced that he was quite knowledgeable in this field. Turns out there were big issues with our unit including the huge mold issue, coil issue, fire hazard issues, etc. (yikes!). Our units were working pretty hard and getting pretty hot and there was zero efficiency going on. Basically, the life of our units had come to an end. We opted to replace the units and he gave us a pretty good deal which included upgrading the digital thermostats (pretty awesome!). My husband is a vet so there was a nice discount I appreciated how he explained everything to us and outlined what replacing the units entailed. We were pleasantly surprised that they had the units available and could start the work that day! There was a two-person crew that came in around 3:30 and was completely done and cleaned up by 10:30 pm. No small project. They were professional, competent and worked diligently to completion. We were quite impressed and what a big difference in the quality of air! We can say enough good things about Service Star, we definitely recommend them for all HVAC needs. GREAT job Service Star. Triple-A rating!!"

"I recently went on Yelp to write a good review for this guy and his company so I'm pretty much copying and pasting. Trust me, I'm happy to do it for this guy because he saved me a bunch of money and I'm so satisfied with his work.
Had a new 3.5 tons system installed at my house 3 years ago. Yesterday it stopped working. I could hear it trying to kick in so I shut it off. Called the original company (ABCool) and they came out to service it. I was told it was the blower motor in the handler inside the garage. He said don't worry about it you're under warranty for 10 years and he took the blower unit out in like 8 minutes.
He knocks on my door and said he called his office and there was a service charge...$560 to install the new one. I was like...and quot;WHAT?!and quot; There is no way I was going to pay ABCool A/C and Heat that kind of money for something so simple....and with a free part no less.
I called a company I found on Craigslist. No, I'm not crazy. Well, I guess it was risky. I did check to see if he was licensed on the SUNBIZ website. He is. Anyway, today Csaba came out (the Owner of Air 1) picked up my old motor and went up to Goodman Dist and got the replacement. Came back to my house and installed it in about 35 minutes...oh, and checked my pressure and refrigerant at the compressor outside. Cost? Less than $160. Needless, to say, the house is cool and I'm really, really happy. Nice guy too, respectful.

"Would give 6 stars if I could! Tim was very helpful in finding an AC unit that would work best for my apartment while saving me money, which I greatly appreciate. Tim did not try to sell me a more expensive unit and was straightforward when I asked him about different sizes and efficiency ratings, helping me get the best deal while also having an AC unit that runs perfectly. As a full time college student, having to replace my AC is a huge financial burden, and Tim’s prices and service far exceeded that of bigger companies in the area who I also called for a quote, i.e. ARS & Frank Gay. Tim & AJ explained everything being done in a way that made sense, and worked around my complicated schedule. They also took extra time and effort to figure out a way to install the compressor on the roof of my building without having to rent a crane, which saved me a considerable amount of money for this job. The new unit works even better than the last one ever did, and the job was completed quickly. I greatly appreciate their friendliness, flexibility and excellent service and will be using RAIR’s services again in the future. "To me Aurora Air is number one, they gave me a quote a date and time and also helped with the finance of the project and stuck to this no changes or delays. Aurora sent 2 techs, Edwin and Jean and they were very professional, they made sure everything was working and explained everything they had done to me and cleaned up before they had me sign off on the project. My neighbor was having problems with his air-condition and was calling around for service and was getting the run around, I told him to call Aurora Air and they took care of his problem right away. His unit was the same as mine, 15 years old, he was so satisfied with the service from Aurora Air that he had the old unit replaced and is very happy and thanks me every time he sees me. It took this long to post my review because my PC hard drive died, had to wait until repaired."
