"When Lee came for the estimate, he brought his portfolio and was able to turn quickly to some options based on what I wanted. This was very convenient and helpful. It took a while to get on the schedule and it got pushed a couple times, though we realize this kind of work is often dictated by weather. A couple weeks ahead, I was told it would likely be the week of Oct 9. On Thurs Oct 5, I learned it would likely be Oct 10 but I'd be contacted on Mon Oct 9. On Mon evening, Lee texted saying barring rain on Tues, his guys would be coming Wed mid morning. After no sign of anyone around 11am on Wed, I texted Lee to inquire and he said his guys would be headed to me mid day. Just before 6pm, still no sign, I texted asking if it would be Thurs? Within half an hour, Lee texted and apologized, checked with his team, and replied that they hadn't finished up another project till 3pm and they'd be to my house about 8:30am on Thursday. They arrived Thurs morning Oct 12, at 7:15am! which caught us (and perhaps some neighbors) a little off guard. But the men (8!) got right to work and indeed it was completed in a day as Lee stated (they left at 4pm). They had to remove a fence post but returned everything to normal before leaving. They tilled, seeded, and added hay to the areas dug up by the equipment. My husband, who built the fence 17 years ago himself, was impressed that he wouldn't have known they'd removed a (cemented in) post. And they even added some mulch after digging the edge around some of our shrub and tree beds. We love the patio and the blending of the gray Porter pavers to our red brick path is just perfect. And my husband and I have already put together our new gazebo. Just waiting on the furniture to enjoy our new outdoor space."

"Excellent!, we had a list of 7 small tasks. Robert was all business and very professional. He solved several problems that had us puzzled. One issue, a sticking back door, we had a previous (unsatisfactory) handyman look at. He said to fix it the door would need to be removed, a lot of time consuming work. We didn’t have him tackle such a big project. After carefully evaluating problem Robert fixed it in minutes with 3-4 nails. I will be calling him again as needed and feel comfortable giving him an excellent review!!"

"We are very pleased with the services provided by Lawn Care Creations. They were very punctual and always professional regarding their work. Randy is very concerned about the quality of services he provides, and made sure we were completely satisfied with the work. We were so impressed with our lawn care and lighting, that we have decided to use him for some additional services as well. I am so glad we found him, and I am sure anyone who uses him will be just as pleased."

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Graham, NC

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
