After reading the reviews on Angie's List, we called Monday to book an appointment. The very personable gentleman who answered the phone let us know who would be coming and what their vehicle looked like. Jerry came the next day, called before he came and arrived exactly on time. He was friendly, very thorough and very knowledgeable. After looking at our door and its broken spring, he said that he thought he had the correct replacement springs on his truck and that we wouldn't have to replace the door. He did have the parts on his truck and was able to replace both springs, install safety cables to contain the springs if they ever break, and do routine maintenance on the door opener in just over an hour. Our door works better than it has in the 13 years that we've owned the house! We'll definitely call Stars and Stripes again for any garage door needs and won't hesitate to recommend them to friends."
