In addition to the replacement of the downstairs system, I have had ongoing years and years of problems with my upstairs unit with it neither cooling or heating effectively.  It has been looked at and "worked on" many times. NO ONE in the past had identified that the duct work was failing and needed resealed in many places, nor the fact that the attic fan was not only not working but was entirely disconnected.  These things were fixed for me on a separate visit - and my upstairs is now so cold in summer that I had to add blankets!  Love it!

"I had been told by a repairman from a company I had a service contract with that my furnace badly needed a cleaning and was quoted a price of $600 for the job as well as an additional $400 to remove a nonworking humidifier. These quotes seemed exorbitant and so I got some estimates, all much lower, and chose Dominion on the basis of reviews. Terrone said my furnace did not need a cleaning, passing up an opportunity to charge me for something I thought I needed, and repaired my humidifier for less than the cost the other company had quoted for merely removing it. He showed me what he was doing, explained how my heating system worked, and charged me a fair price for the job. I would certainly call Dominion again for any HVAC needs."

He inspected the unit, found a failed capacitor caused by an add-on Michael and Sons installed last inspection. "When I initially called they were nice enough to tell me if I could wait until tomorrow they wouldn't have to charge me the emergency fee & would save me some money. This trend carried through the service and I much appreciated it. When the plumber (Matt) got there he tried everything he could to clear the line. He tried to not remove the toilet (to save us some $) but the tool he had was too small. He tried the larger tool but it was too big. He informed us that he would have to come back the next day with the medium sized tool.  When he came back the next day he fixed the issue we were having and in addition, looked at some broken plumbing under the bathroom sink.  Matt was friendly, courteous and on-time. Unfortunately I wasn't home when he came either day but he was in contact with me via phone and my dad, who was at the house for us, couldn't stop talking about what a nice guy he was. Hopefully we won't need to, but we would definitely use them again!

"I have been a customer for a very long time and this scheduled maintenance and dryer vent cleaning was done by Cesar. I have to say he is one very thorough technician and I was very pleased with his inspection and vent cleaning. His service was so different than some of the ones I've had before. I even had one inspector tell me he didn't need to check in my attic which houses one of our two units. Let me tell you about Cesar, he even cleaned up behind my dryer for me. This is something that is rare in customer service. I have my HVAC seasonally maintenanced and never had a inspector be as thorough as him. The pictures he took and explained to me and the one problem he found that no other inspector had found in all this time. I tried to spare him from the attic heat for the repair and have him return on another day in the morning but he didn't mind going back in there to fix the problem for us although it was in the dead heat of the day. I just hope the company sees this review and knows what a good technician they have in Cesar."
