"I contacted Mr. Franklin for what I thought was regular maintenance. I had never had the septic pumped before and was unsure where the tank was located as there were no visible indication of the piping. Mr. Franklin poked around but could not locate the piping so he contacted the County Health Department and obtained a copy of the blue print outlining the location of the septic tank. Turns out the line was inactive and the tank did not need to be pumped. After all the trouble Mr. Franklin went through between the drive out here, the hour he spent poking around trying to find the septic tank and waiting for the county to call back, he refused to accept any money from me. He would not even accept a trip charge. In a world were honesty just doesn't seem to exist anymore, it is so good to know that there are still trustworthy businesses out there! Mr. Franklin's knowledge of what to look for toppled with the time he took just to educate me is just priceless! I wish all businesses was like Franklin Septic!"

"They were great. No hesitation in using them again or recommending them to anyone. Late Thursday night our guest bathroom toilet would not flush and of course we were expecting my husbands parents and grandparents in less than 24 hours for a weekend visit.....Early on Friday morning I called and the woman who took my call my was very professional and sympathetic. She got me in for an appointment between 2-5 and promised to move me up if any openings occurred for earlier. An hour or two later our only other bathroom starting to back up and our kitchen sink stopped draining. I called back in a complete panic as my guests were only a couple of hours away. They got someone to our house within 45 minutes and the guy, Ben, was amazing. He had the blockage removed and we were back in business in less than an hour. plus he gave us a tip on how to get rid of the scratch marks in our toilet that we created while trying to snake it ourselves when we thought it was just the toilet. The tip worked and the toilet looks brand new. He, also, gave us (new first time home owners) some great plumbing tips if we ever have another back up....you can take off the top of the outside drain access and the water will go into the yard instead of your house! "On 1st unit, techs added a lot of freon and cleared the blocked drain line from the blower. The continuous running on the the second unit has been a recurring problem that had been treated prior as thermostat problem. The problem has always returned after thermostat replacement. The AAA tech is the first to examine the blower thoroughly and discover a bad module as the problem. Hopefully, this will be a lasting fix."

Perfectly.   Jimmy is owner so he is the one who responds to phone calls and does the work.  Arrived on schedule.  He had to go find some parts and returned promptly.    All work done to my satisfaction.   He knows his work as he is a master plumber....

He has ordered a part for me to replace a part on new dishwasher connection.  Did not like quality that came with the dishwasher.

" I used their services twice before, however, this was the most involved job todate.  Josh was on time and did a great job installing the plumbing to our kitchen sink follow replacement of our counter tops and sink.  Since the sinks were a different depth, he had to reconfigure the entire drain system for the double sink.  His experience, creativity, and expertise was readily apparent.  We had prior drainage problems from our disposal which he also fixed in the process.  We have had no leaks and everything works perfectly to include the disposal which has never worked better.  (Add to think were seriously considering having a new one installed.)  
The countertop installers also caused a major leak under our dishwasher which he fixed..  He also checked a toilet that had been leaking and replaced a tank flapper (the thing that plugs the line to the toilet bowl so the tank will fill).  He then checked our propane fire places as we had not been able to get them to work since moving into the house 3 years prior.  He did all of this at no extra charge. 
He also offers military discounts (I am retired from the Army), however, I did not request it as I felt he wasn't charging me enough for all the work he did over a four hour period.

NOTE: This review has been edited. Our original review for Tile Creations Big Deal bathroom renovation stated that I was satisfied with their work and that they did a good job. Our original complaint focused on difficulties in communication, and Tile Creations' refusal to honor the second of two Big Deals that we had purchased.

A professional who came to give an estimate on that second Big Deal project pointed out some major workmanship issues that that we had not originally identified. We have sent photographs and descriptions of the problems found to Tile Creations and we have changed our review to reflect these problems.

The major problems identified include:

Floor tile was installed directly onto the uneven, cracked concrete base that remained after the old tile was removed. Concrete backer board was not installed as promised in the Big Deal and the statement of work provided by Tile Creations prior to beginning work. The resulting tiles are unevenly spaced, not flush with each other, and not level.

Two different colors of grout were used in the tub surround. Most of the grout was a light gray color; the grout along the tub was a darker reddish color. The darker color draws attention to the uneven grout lines where some new tiles had to be replaced in the course of installation.

The grout used in the project was very crumbly and rough, and is flaking off in some places. It was not smoothed, cleaned, or sealed as specified in the Big Deal.

The baseboards and shoe molding still show some raw wood where they were not completely painted.  There are noticeable gaps between the wood and the floor. The finish work is sloppy.

Although we specified oil rubbed bronze for the plumbing fixtures and accessories, the tub drain plug and overflow cover are shiny chrome.

As our desired resolution, we are asking that the work be completed as described in the Big Deal that we purchased and in the written statement of work from Tile Creations.

    Tiles should be evenly spaced, flush with each other, and level.
    Grout should be all the same color, smoothed, cleaned, and sealed.
    Baseboards and shoe molding should be neatly finished and completely painted.
    Fixtures should all be the specified color - oil rubbed bronze.

If they will not complete the job as spelled out in the Big Deal and their statement of work, we'd like a refund so we can get someone else to fix these problems."
