"My water heater died last week. I went on Home Advisor and received a number of calls. One from George at Stream Water Heaters. We discussed my problem. George requested Photos of the heater and the area around the heater. Within 30mins I received an estimate. The price was totally reasonable for equipment and install. The water heater from a well known company and carried a better than good warranty. I received an install time of 6pm next day. The team remved the old water heater, replaced an obsolete valve, and installed the new water heater. I had numerous questions. All my questions were answered in the most courteous manner. The professionalism, expertise, and timeliness of George's Team were exceptional. Highly recommend this company."

Multiple crews worked on our home across a week and a half. Each individual was professional and was more than willing to spend time explaining each step of the process. They cleaned up each day leaving the house in almost better shape than when they started. They also worked with us around accommodating our animals. Cody was able to adjust and respond quickly to change requests we had during the project and we could not be happier with the result. Post install Cody has been great taking our calls for questions on the new system and helping us learn usage of the systems. He even walked me through an easy change to the tankless hot water heater spending a good hour on the phone with me. "Rob came out to review our existing system and helped us figure out what kind and brand of heat pump would work best with our system. He was very patient and informative, and answered all our questions without any pressure or up-sells (we had quotes from five providers). We signed the contract and payed our deposit in June 2021, but unfortunately global supply chain issues delayed the parts being received. Day & Nite were communicative of the issue and offered several alternatives, including a refund of the deposit. We opted to wait for the parts. It took four months, but the techs (lead by Jeff B) were fantastic and very accommodating in how we wanted piping and wiring routed. We are very pleased with how it's turned out and loved working with a local (and family owned!) company! Our gas water heater is due for replacement soon, and we'll be coming back to Day & Nite for that!"

"Previous owner used non-heat rated PVC piping on the water heater. Entire system was almost a decade old so decided to change out the heater at the same time. After giving the owner a good description of the problem he was able to give me a quote over the phone ($1950 + tax). I decided to let them come out and access the job before agreeing. They arrived on time and after a quick assessment the lead plumber quoted me a higher price but after consulting the owner they agreed to do the job for the original price quoted. Mike and John worked quick and efficiently. They were polite & professional and had the entire job complete and work site cleaned in 3-hours. Over all quick and painless process, would use their service again."

"I was referred to Apollo Plumbing by G&S Heating, Cooling and Electric when my 75 Gallon Hot Water Heater Failed. G&S originally installed the water heater when they installed my Geo-Thermal Heating system and I’ve always had nothing but praise for G&S. They are honest, ethical and fair in all their business dealings and the quality of the work has been impeccable. Due to some regulatory changes, G&S could not replace my 75 Gallon Water Heater, but instead referred me to Apollo. I called and was helped by Samara, who was extremely helpful in fitting me into the schedule. Zac the installer showed up to my home, a bit late, but I was happy that he had arrived and work could commence. Zac presented me with the estimate for the service and that’s where things took a turn for the worse. I had done some research on the pricing I should expect my new hot water heater to cost. The one that had failed was 12 years old and I could have had the same exact model delivered to my home for $1,100 dollars. Home Depot and Lowes stocked a similar model and would have delivered them to my home for about the same price. Zak delivered an estimate to me that totaled over $4,800.00, of which, $2,300 was for the water heater, about $1,200.00 more than I could have obtained a replacement. When I protested, I got an explanation that it was a specialty item, the only type of water heater Apollo will install and warrantee, and several other meaningless points in trying to justify the cost. Zac did apply a “coupon” reduction of $292.00, however, it didn’t make me feel any better about the situation. I was up against a time constraint of an overseas business trip and didn’t have the luxury of backing out of the appointment, so I reluctantly accepted the estimate. Zac did a good job of installing the new heater. I’m a small business owner and have been in business for 40 years. In that period, I have never had a customer complain about or question the price of any invoice I’ve submitted to them. I was clearly overcharged for the hot water heater. As such, I would recommend others getting competing estimates after they receive one from Apollo to make sure they are not being overcharged. I won’t use them again."

"Install was on time and as described. '1st Response' did the job I expected for the water heater install. Good customer service for scheduling. Note that the Angie's list price of $799 only covers the installation of 50 gallon gas AO Smith hot water tank. Assuming you also do installation of new brass fittings, new flex lines and new expansion tank (which you should probably all do with the new water heater) it will cost an ADDITIONAL approx $500-600 (mostly labor costs). That's a competitive price but still, you should be aware that the original quote is just for the water tank install itself, nothing else. All-in-all they did a good job for a competitive price. A few months after the install, so far, I can say I would recommend them for this type of work."
