"Great. Met with Chris (the owner) the Friday before and he got up on the roof and inspected everything on the stack. He took photos while he was up there so he could show me what was causing the issue of the leak. He came inside and inspected the fireplace. We went over all the details and he explained to me how doing this repair now would save me over $3,500 in repairs if ignored and left as is. I didn't think what he was asking for a price was high so i booked the job. His crew arrived when he said they would and the was it. I paid for the services and 4 months later there are no leaks in any of the areas he repaired. Great job, great service, and great guy. Brick Preservation came highly recommended from a close family friend. They exceeded all expectations from the initial phone call to the completion of the work. 1 month after the job was completed I even received a follow up call to ensure that I was satisfied with the job.

The work crew was led by James himself. It was completed 2 days prior to his original estimate and the cost was just under the original quote.

The new mortar color and texture was a perfect match to the original from 1957. He was even able to reuse some of the original brick and match the replacement brick perfectly.

The work was performed safely and the crew was very professional at all times while they were at my home. The work area was kept neat while the work was performed and was spotless when he finished. (This was important to me because I have 3 young children and a large dog)

"Pros: The Big Deal was affordable, quick and simple: exactly what we needed. The chimney sweep came out, inspected the chimney and cleaned it, then vacuumed the chimney grate and surrounding area afterwards. He also was able to tell me that the stone sides of my chimney were inserts and still usable (so i didn't have to replace them) as well as how to use my chimney, which as a new homeowner, i really appreciated. He was courteous, polite, friendly and helpful - and fast! The appointment was done in an hour or less.
Cons: The Big Deal said that the company would contact me to schedule, but instead the company messaged/emailed all purchasers of the deal to say we'd need to call to schedule. I did so, and the receptionist said b/c of the large amount of purchases, they couldn't get me scheduled right away but would call back within the week. Which they didn't do. (Pro:) I ended up calling and scheduling myself, about a month or so later. I called on a Saturday or Sunday and they said they could get scheduled for Monday, which was impressive.
