"Colin came out right away to do the estimate. He provided a best case-worst case range and itemized everything in the estimate which was appreciated. Its nice having someone provide full transparency upfront, that type of transparency prevents those unpleasant surprises down the road and avoids hard feeling for both parties. Aaron and Vance came for the install and didn't waste a minute of time, they had everything done ahead of schedule, cut only a tiny bit of sheetrock behind the stove for the new line, and didn't leave a scrap of any waste behind. They even used a few extra spare minutes to help push in and level our new stove which WAS appreciated. They provided a new gas line connection hose between the wall and the stove, the ones purchased from the big box store do NOT meet code (Warning to others when buying a gas range, check with your plumber before buying a connection hose from the store). Overall great job and will use them again!"

"We had an great experience with Hull Plumbing. I requested a quote through Angie's List and, less than 10 minutes later, Jennifer called to discuss our plumbing issue. She was able to get us on the schedule the next morning. Steve L. came out to do the work. Steve was friendly and very knowledgeable. He diagnosed and fixed our overflow issue by snaking our drain pipe. Steve also took time to explain his findings and recommendations if anything would come up in the future. Since the issue was related to our laundry drain pipe, he ran two drain cycles on our washing machine before leaving (the first was a small load as we'd had previously set, but he ran a large load next) to ensure that he'd fully resolved our plumbing issue before he left. We really appreciated that he cleaned up the area from the work after he was done. Highly recommend and will use again!"

"They dug a huge hole in my front yard looking for the existing water service line to the house. They dug up three shrubs that I had planted earlier in the year. The company?s pipe locator was not there when they started digging. If he had been, this mess could have been averted. After they called him back they dug up another shrub to get at the existing line. The work they did to install a new water service line was satisfactory. Now I just have a wrecked front yard ."

"Amazing. I can't say enough good things about this company. After being up sold and lied to by another heat and air company in town my gut was telling me to call and get a second opinion. The original company told me it would cost 750 to replace the blower motor on my furnace plus the $128 fee they charged just for coming out to tell me they couldn't fix it. Then when I asked for advice on what to do they told me my equipment was 15 and in bad shape and they'd recommend replacing it. They gave me a deal of 11k which wasn't terrible for all the work that would go in to a tear out and replace. However, HVAC Solutions came out the same day and looked at my system and gave me honest advice and even told me the price of the other company was fair but that I could wait and didn't need it immediately and oh yeah, it's not 15 it's 13 which isn't a huge thing but it is when you are trusting the people telling you information. HVAC Solutions figured out a fix to my blower motor that cost $420 TOTAL for everything. They knew what they were doing and told me how I could fix some of my problems more cheaply. I can't say enough good things about them. It's hard when you have to trust people are giving you good advice and you can't. This company you can trust! I also love that it's local and woman owned. I love that they were nice to me on the phone and listened to my story and tried to get my pricing over the phone so they wouldn't have to send someone out. I was without heat on days that were below freezing for several days. I can't thank this company enough for their integrity, competence, and kindness. This is the hallmark of who you want to work with when you're stressed and need good advice."

"I had a leak underneath the slab and instead of tearing out the slab they went up the wall through the roof, through the ceiling and back through the adjacent wall to reconnect to the rest of the plumbing which I thought was ingenious. It saved me from having the floor fixed by getting the whole floor re-tiled. The house is 17 years old and there is no way I could have matched the tiles. So he saved me a lot of money. We have hard water and it is switched to a water softening system and the build up that had occurred in the copper pipe once it is then exposed to the softened water that build up erodes away and if there is a weakness in the copper pipe it will spring a leak. So it sprung a leak under my slab. You have a major artery in your house which you don't expect to fail. He was very knowledgeable. He took his time to answer my question and he spoke to me as if he is a teacher. So he was teaching me about the ways of plumbing and what happened and everything. He did not talk down to me or make me feel that because I am woman I will not understand. He took his time and explained all to me. Price wise he gave me my options and explained the cost benefit for each option. I will definitely use this company in the future. He was not here to take advantage of me but he was here to educate me."

"I've hired Mullin twice. The first time, it was to fix a leaking faucet, and the experience was fine. I was able to schedule the service visit quickly, and the plumber did a great job. (It's been several months with no hint of the leak returning.) He was friendly and professional, and I thought the price was reasonable. <br /> The second time I hired them was to fix a running toilet. It was an intermittent problem, and it didn't run while the plumber was here, which I'm sure makes it more difficult to diagnose. The plumber (who again, was very nice) replaced the part that he said was the most frequent cause of the problem and told me to call if there were any more problems. <br /> Later that day, it started running again. I called the office a few days later and explained the situation and asked about scheduling a second repair visit. The scheduler put me on the calendar. However, she told me that the second visit would cost the full $90 service charge, even though it was their second attempt to fix a problem that they didn't fix correctly the first time. I don't have any way of knowing if that's typical of plumbers in this area or not, but it didn't seem fair to me. In light of that policy, I canceled the return visit, and I don't think I'll use Mullin again. (I do want to emphasize that my rating of "F" for professionalism is for this policy, which I'm sure is set by the Mullin owners, not for anything having to do with the plumber's own behavior.) <br /> (I eventually fixed the toilet myself - the problem was a $2 seal on the flush valve.) <br />"
