"Timely and high quality work done by Steve and team--to stave off what could have been a disaster! Once they confirmed the problem with the drain pipe, they quickly came back the next day to dig the hole and get the pipe replaced. RJ always does great work....would definitely recommend!!"

"Mike called on Monday morning said he could do it sooner and came right over.  He had to drill out a section under my sink to remove the pipe and the corresponding pipe downstairs.  Quite a section.  He ran out and bought the new pipe and installed it and was gone in a very few hours.  He kept me posted as to what he was doing and I have nothing but nice things to say.  Linda and her Dad have been my plumbers for about 30 years so I only have good things to say about them.  THEY TAKE CARE OF ME!! <br />"

"There was a guy here for about 10 days re-piping my house.  They managed to not rip through my floors or ceilings to get the job done, I was impressed.  Patrick, the owner, stopped by a few times also to make sure the work was being completed.  I highly recommend them."

"The crew of 3 showed up to work at 8 as promised. We over viewed the work we had discussed on his estimate appointment. <br /> It took them roughly 5 hours from start to finish. Overall they installed supply lines for a bathroom: Sink, Toilet and built the supply for the shower. We had the rough in drains/vents already. They installed supply lines for a wet bar sink and drain/vent just outside the bathroom area. <br /> He did all of the wet wall work first and got the area ready before shutting off the water. The supply to our house was only off for a total of about 30 minutes. <br /> He was very courteous answered all of my questions. When he was finished he walked my wife through all the work that they had done as well as took some pictures and sent them to me. <br /> All copper piping was used and although I haven't been able to test the lines yet (due to construction not being finished) it is not leaking and everything appears in order. <br />"

"Showed up on time ,balanced new furnace on bricks found in my yard (not exactly my preference for installation) Damaged a door frame removing old furnace. On the positive side they are friendly and replaced some cracked gas line fittings that could have created a real problem. <br />"

Automatic Delivery – Did you know the most efficient way to receive propane is through our Automatic Delivery service? With this service, you don’t have to call for a delivery, we deliver to you based on your propane needs. In many cases, customers who choose our Automatic Delivery option will reduce their propane price per gallon with our auto fill discount, and avoid untimely out of gas calls and special trip fees. \n \nWill Call Delivery – Some customers prefer to call us when they want a delivery. They may opt for the “will call” status because their financial situation or use of alternate heat sources. Using the percentage gauge on the tank the customer monitors the amount of gas left in the tank calls to schedule a delivery. Things to remember with Will Call: Minimum Delivery is 250 gallons, we require 3 business days to schedule deliveries, and there are delivery charges for out of gas/low gas/less than minimum/special deliveries. \n \nBudget Billing – The budget payment plan is simple. Your average or estimated yearly heating bill is calculated to determine your equal monthly payment. Payments are made monthly from July till June of the following year. At the end of the budget payment year, your account will be “cleared.” If you have a balance due, you will be billed for the remaining balance. If you have overpaid, the amount of the credit may be applied to the following year’s budget payment plan, or a refund check may be requested. Our budget payment plan allows you to maintain smaller monthly payments instead of larger invoices at the time of gas deliveries. Customers on our budget payment plan will also enjoy the convenience of our “KEEP FULL” delivery service. Our drivers will monitor your tank to ensure you do not experience the inconvenience or cost of running out of gas. When a delivery is made a yellow copy of your ticket will be left on your door. Keep these copies for your records. To remain on the plan, you must make payments monthly. Budget billing starts in July of each year. The sign up period ends June 30th. Customers wishing to sign up after that date may either make up payments from July or wait until the next budget year begins. \n \nPre-Purchase - A second option we offer is a Pre-Purchase program in which you may purchase propane for the winter months in the Summer of that year at a fixed price. Our Pre-Buy price is usually set June 15th. We suggest purchasing gallons that would normally be delivered between late November thru early February. All Pre-Purchase contracts must be made between June 1st and Mid September of the year. You have 30 days from date of signed contract to pay for pre-purchase gas, and you have until May 31st to use the pre-purchase gallons.

FAQs for gas piping projects in Hamburg, IL

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
