"I am still waiting for the return of my deposit as it has been a week since I put this review on hold after putting in the notice that day 24 June of cancellation by email and next day mail. As I have said before I am a disabled Vet, Senior citizen with health problems. I have copies of the emails that I sent on the days of 06/24/2023 and by next day Mail on the 27th notarized copies of the cancellation. Tried calling but went to voice mail. No work has been done so a rating cannot be done on the work, only the price. This job was way overpriced and never got the chance to compare. The salesman was a good person but I have my family doing it for thousands less."

"We met with Ryan and Pete who were both extremely professional and knowledgeable. They met with my husband and I discuss new windows for the main floor of our single family home. We have a toddler and newborn and Ryan helped keep our toddler occupied and was very understanding and patient as we had to multitask in taking care of our kids while also discussing the window project. We were impressed by their warm, genuine approach which is very different from a typical salesperson trying to get you to go with their product. You could tell they truly believed in the company, the goals and values, and the product/services they provide. Due to personal reasons we weren’t able to invest in the project right now but we will 100% be contacting Ryan in the future and using Peak for all our future window/roofing needs. When you find a good, reliable company like Peak you want to make sure to spread the word and we will be recommending them to our family/friends/neighbors who need any projects done in their homes."

"What an amazing experience from start to finish! Initially, the sales rep took the time to explain every facet of the process, history and quality assurance of the company before, during and after installation of my windows. All next steps given were followed up promptly by a courteous customer service rep through emails and text messages. An expert came out and measured all windows for precise fitting. He then also made me aware of next steps. While I awaited for my windows to be custom made, I received periodic messages providing anticipated dates due to shortage of materials. Once my windows were ready for installation, a date and time was scheduled for a team to come to install the windows. My Oh MY!!! Did they send me the BEST crew ever!!! The team lead walked with me to each window location in my home to ensure the measured window would be installed in the right location per the measurement appearing on the window pane left by the measurer. The crew worked steadfastly throughout the day. They took a brief lunch break. The crew members paused to address any questions my sister or I had. They were polite and friendly. This crew completed the task just before a fierce thunderstorm rolled through the area. During the inspection walk, we noticed one window pane was broken. NO worries, the crew leader had already contacted headquarters to place a replacement order. In a day or so following the installation, a representative reached out to me to explain next steps! My home feels so much cozier and sound since the installation of the windows. I have had to make adjustments to my thermostat because my home stays cooler longer! "While I appreciate the company's attempt to rectify initial issues, our overall experience with this solar installation was unfortunately very unprofessional. The initial installation team demonstrated a lack of respect for our property, damaging plants, leaving debris (including an orange cone), and inappropriately using our private bathroom despite a readily available public restroom on the premises. Following my initial negative review, the company offered a Home Depot gift card as compensation, which wasn't particularly useful to us. They also offered to address some unrelated roof repairs they noticed, but I questioned why these weren't addressed during the original solar installation. Scheduling follow-up work proved equally frustrating. An appointment was scheduled for Wednesday, but the crew arrived a day early on Tuesday without prior communication. While I appreciated them attempting to complete the work ahead of schedule, they left the roof partially finished overnight, exposed to potential weather damage. Furthermore, the crew damaged another plant box during the Tuesday work and continued noisy work – including banging on the roof – until 8:30 PM on Wednesday, violating DC noise ordinances that typically require work to conclude by 7:30 PM. This put us at risk of a city violation. Throughout the entire process, communication was poor and the lack of consideration for our property and local regulations was deeply concerning. While I appreciate the attempt to make things right, the experience was ultimately not ideal and left us feeling very dissatisfied."

"Beware: company recently sold beginning of 2024 to new owners. Not same reputable company it used to be! This has been an absolute nightmare experience. This company has no idea what they are doing and poor customer service / management. We are building a 4 season room and ordered 19 windows totaling about $19,000. Contract signed December 8, 2023. Windows measured January 8, 2024 and told about 7-9 weeks until job completion. Windows had to be remeasured February 28th as no one noticed the measurements were not correct / order sitting on a desk. On installation day, 2 windows were incorrect. Was told replacement windows was supposed to be rushed ordered 2 weeks and promised “top priority” by manager Alen D to get them installed (April 9th) – only to have it delayed another 6 weeks (May 21+22) installed. Windows took 19 weeks from the day they were supposed to have been “ordered”. Communication with office staff and “managers” extremely poor and we were ghosted multiple times."

"I contacted three companies requesting an estimate to replace the roof on my 3-story townhouse. Liberty Windows and Siding contacted me within 2 hours. Originally, they scheduled a meet with one of their estimators, but when I mentioned I had read reviews involving Peter, the appointment was scheduled for the next afternoon with him. Turns out that Peter was on the other side of Baltimore at the time of our appointment, so at my suggestion we spoke on the phone as it was rush hour and I didn’t want him to try to rapidly get to my location during that time. Once I related to him that I needed a full roof replacement of my townhouse, Peter gave me a lot of information to consider, including the fact that he is one of the company owners. We engaged in a pleasant business conversation and some general chit-chat. Peter said he would get answers to my questions, obtain information regarding the size of my roof, and get back to me in a couple of hours. I was pleasantly shocked when during our next call, he offered a price to replace my roof that was so much lower than what I believed it could have been that I accepted immediately. I have yet to hear from the other two companies I had contacted. The next week Liberty Windows and Siding called to schedule the date of the work (and later reschedule--weather-related delays). The day of work, the crew was on time but there was a short delay as the materials had not yet arrived (different company). Once on-site and delivered to the roof, the Liberty Windows and Siding crew went right to work. I had already laid down some small tarps to cover the A/C compressor and some plants, bushes, etc., but they were respectful of my property and put down several additional large tarps to protect more of the lawn, the A/C compressor, and back porch. The crew answered any questions I had, picked up all the old shingles, plastic wrappers, and tar paper that floated to the ground rather than landing in the dumpster, and then used a long-handled magnet to find the errant nails from tear off. I had told Peter that I would buy the crew lunch, and they really seemed to enjoy it. I used to work in construction and, from the portions of the roof that I could view from the ground, the crew did an excellent job with tear-off and installation. They let me know that all the original plywood underlayment was in good condition and nothing structural needed replacing. It absolutely POURED down rain all the next day and night, and thus far I’ve seen no evidence of leaks. The roof is beautiful again and my house is looking so much better than its 27 years. I am extremely happy that I chose Liberty Windows and Siding to help maintain my home and highly recommend the company."
