"Very pleased with service. I have used RAS a number of times over the years. Price may be slightly higher than others but this is easily outweighed by performance."

"Very well. I have an old unit that is probably close to going out completely. I called Chris on a Thursday, after 7:00 PM and coming home to an A/C unit that was blowing hot air. I found Cucco's through another provider search company but I am glad I found him. Other providers I have used in the past when I had a home warranty were not nearly as attentive, responsive, willing to answer to answer my questions, or as courteous - in fact, some of them were just down right rude! That was not the case with Chris. He went out of his way to explain his process and assure me that he was doing everything possible to ensure my A/C unit was being repaired to the best of his ability. He even explained how my unit is not up to code, what it will take to get it up to code, and how to avoid costly repairs in the future. I will definitely call Chris again when the time comes to replace my unit and bring it up to code!

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"After a discussion with Alfred he mentioned that he could install an overflow protection switch so that if there was water backed up in the line it would stop the air conditioner unit. He applied a special coupon for the installation and completed the job in about a half an hour. Alfred was absolutely a delight to deal with and I intend to have him return to service my AC unit in the spring. I highly recommend the company!

"Greetstreet (Home Energy Efficiency) is a small company with trustworthy employees who will do their best to do a good job for you if you hire their services.
Greenstreet Home Energy Efficiency just completed a large project on my home, which involved installing a radiant barrier, 2 solar fans, duct sealing, some insulation (target was R30), and some sub-flooring. I had a couple of small projects done by them before this one (duct sealing in the attic and a smaller solar fan). I learned about them through Angie?s List.
The person who managed and/or performed all the work on my home was Carl. Carl is good at what he does and will do his best to do right by you. Carl did his best to address any concerns I had on the project and was happy to go over any topics associated with the project with me until I was satisfied. For instance, while performing the installation, Carl realized that the initial estimate for the amount of sub-flooring needed was insufficient, once I had gone through the pre-installation walk-through of the project with him. He scheduled another day with me to finish the sub-flooring at my convenience with no extra cost for time or materials. Also, when the insulation was being installed, a wire was compromised that was connected to our smoke/carbon monoxide detectors. Carl offered to get batteries for me so the alarms wouldn?t beep until the connection could be restored. This wasn?t necessary as I had batteries available, fortunately. Carl setup an appointment for an electrician to address the issue at my earliest possible convenience, with no charge. The electrician was courteous and professional and took care of the problem with no issues. Carl may not always be completely accurate with his estimated travel times to the work site due to traffic around Houston and the locations he needs to visit to acquire his materials, but he will let you know if something is holding him up.
If you order any of their services through Angie?s list, most of the packages include a home energy audit. This is similar to a sales pitch, in that part of the purpose of an energy audit is to determine what can be done to your home to make it more energy efficient. If your home is very energy efficient, they won?t have many recommendations. If it?s not, they may have a lot of them. James was my Home Energy Efficiency Auditor and he?s also good at what he does. He?s familiar with the latest technologies in Home Energy Efficiency and will have a good idea of what?s best for your home depending on what you want to spend, and what rebates/tax credits are available for you if you want to move forward. James didn?t do any pressure selling with me. He told me what he thought would help me save money with my electric bill, and how much the recommended project would cost, and left it at that (along with his contact information). If you don?t feel like you?re ready to spend a bunch of money, or you?re not sure if you want to move forward without doing some research first, just tell them that, and that?s fine. The last deal I bought from them prior to having the radiant barrier installed was for $500 dollars? worth of insulation with an energy audit. At this point I was familiar with the company and their work and decided to go ahead with the radiant barrier, and they rolled my insulation package into that deal. But if I?d only wanted to go with the $500 of insulation instead, they would have been fine with that.
What was most important to me was that they were professional and courteous, and that they truly seem to care about me as a customer and a person in general. They were open and honest with me about anything I wanted to talk to them about and any concerns I had with the project, and did their best to address any concerns I had. They did their best to make sure I was happy with the work that was done before requesting payment. I would work with them again.
As far as the benefits of the installation that was performed ? previously, even when the temperatures outside the house had been in the 70s (like they have been recently), the attic was still at least 20 to 30 degrees hotter than that. With the radiant barrier the attic hasn?t been that much hotter than the ambient temperatures outside. The house has already been noticeably cooler and the A/C unit hasn?t been on nearly as much as it used to be. Greenstreet said that I should expect to be able to save about 30 percent on my electricity bills due to my savings from cooling and heating the house. From what I?ve seen so far I believe them. In summary, if you?re looking to make your home more energy efficient (and get a tax credit while doing so), I highly recommend Greenstreet!
