"The original project targeted only the Kitchen with minimum lay out modification. We later added removal of a wall and closet, replacing the dining room floor and painting the is one and the living room. We requested 7 quotes in total since this was a major project. We decided to work with Remodeling concepts due mainly to: - Derek's professionalism, - a timely response during the quoting process. We made four modification to the original project changing design and scope of work, - a very competitive price, - solid references, - have insurance and be licensed. The job started on the agreed date, and run as scheduled. Derek's team follows his professionalism, and they demonstrated a high level of expertise. Demolition (walls, closet, cabinets, etc), cleaning, framing, sheet-rock & taping, tile and back-splash work, plumbing and gas work, cabinets installation, electrical work, appliance installation, and painting were top. And they kept the dust to the minimum. We could appreciate their craftsmanship on the details. We have our DREAM kitchen. My wife is extremely pleased, therefore so do I. "Tom and Matt came by to side my house (and garage), put in new windows, and rip off the old roof and put a new one on. Attention to detail was impeccable. All of our neighbors were impressed with the work, and would often stop by to see the guys work their magic. "My wife and I DO NOT use anyone who is not on Angie's List so we understand the importance of having accurate, fair reviews. We found Cary on Angie's List with overall great feedback on jobs he had done so we called him in for an estimate. Despite being very busy, he made the time to come over on a Saturday morning. He had previously dropped by and assessed the damage from the outside but needed to see it from the inside to ensure he could judge it accurately. After 15 minutes, our fears were realized and he said he would need to remove the cedar impression siding and remove the roof and replace it with a different system because the pitch wasn't steep enough. 
Within 48 hours, he provided a quote for his crew to come out and get the work done in a single day which was completely reasonable. He completed the work (guaranteed) as promised and left the site immaculate. He took pictures of the issue, of job progress and of the completed job. He mentioned he went around and filled some other issues he noticed while he was waiting for his crew to wrap up, no charge at all. He then discounted the quoted, agreed price 5% for angie's list deal I wasn't even aware of. Have you ever heard of a contractor accept less than an agreed price? Me neither.
Angie's List is a great resource for people to share experiences. I think the contractors who are honest and reasonable should be applauded too. We have been on the receiving end of some really lousy service so this was a new experience having someone do what they promised to do. Cary and his crew are the best in Monmouth County. We already have him pricing out finishing a storage space and will use him to build our deck in the spring. I cannot recommend Cary enough and you can reach me through Cary if you'd like to see his work firsthand.
