"I am completely satisfied with Becks. Every encounter from initial txt msg through phone call, scheduling, meeting the technicians, and their work in assessing and completing the repair was exemplary. My job was done in a timely manner which was a relief as another company quoted me a 4 day delay. My water was off at the main so I really didn't want to wait that long. The technicians were knowledgeable and professional and answered my questions. They left no mess behind. I have some future upgrades in the planning stage and will definitely consult with them at that time due to the experience I had today. So, in short, my water is back on. My leak is gone. The technicians were wonderful. I recommend Becks without reservation "

"My aging Jeep needed a good once over and several mileage related repairs that I had ignored for a while. When the office called to let us know what needed to be done, he did a great job explaining not only what needed to be done but <strong> why</strong> repairs needed to be done.repairs. My husband is mechnically inclined but not a car guy and he was really impressed with the way Simon's explained repairs. Clear without being condescending. <br /> My favorite Simon's story - I had some holes in my heat shield on my muffler. They came out and said the replacement was pricey and offered to do a much less expensive repair instead. Another shop had wanted to replace it a year before. Because they saved me money, they have made more from me because I won't take my car anywhere else. <br /> I didn't want to dock them for this, but because they are a smaller, local, independent shop, repairs can take a little longer than a huge chain. I know they work really hard to get their work done in a timely manner; they are just a smaller shop! Simon's is one of the reasons I love living in the Heights. Great family company that likes helping their residents of their community. <br />"

"Company always answers phone!! Explained problem. Called back several times promptly within minutes. Shut off water/gas supply. Going to wait until morning, but company called back and said they could come to check situation. Gary let tank drain overnight, came the next morning to install new tank. Neat work. Friendly. Installation in a timely manner. Done work for me before. Will call them again. Family member uses them too."

"They're very professional and do good work.  They're also just friendly people.  For me the location is great and the convenience of having loaner cars and/or a shuttle ride to work makes all the difference.  They're probably not the cheapest mechanic out there but I feel comfortable with them and that means a lot.  I'm willing to pay a little extra for a mechanic I feel I can trust and a place that makes it convenient for me to do business with them.  And they're a local shop not some chain and are involved in the community. <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Hartville, OH

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
