"Ezra and his crew from Landmark construction energy crew replaced 13 wooden slider windows with double-hung UV and sound-dampening windows. When he came over, he measure all the windows and checked them to make sure that he will provide us with the best windows. Ezra and his supervisor arrived to my house right on time, more than that, his office contacted us before the meeting and when he was on the way to give us even more accurate estimate of when he would arrive. This consideration and respect continued throughout the process of installation. In total we had 4 workers working, led by Charlie, and they finished the job as predicted in approximately the same day. They cleaned up well and Charlie took time to answer our questions before leaving. There was a manufacturing problem that was not at all related to Ezra's work or his company. He called and talked to the manufacturer, making sure that they will deliver the new windows and he did all he could to make sure that the windows worked correctly, coming out and putting in additional time himself. We absolutely recommend Ezra's and Landmark construction energy crew! We would have them return for any additional work we might need. The courtesy, knowledge and experience exhibited by Ezra and his crew is seldom encountered today, and it was a pleasure to work with a local company."

"This service was unbelievable !  The windows were amazingly clean.  They wiped down all the tracks and cleaned and vacuumed the sills.  I have never seen our windows as clean.  They were very polite and very professional.  I asked to be put on their call list because I don't want to let this company get away.  I loved their service!  I know that we used a coupon for the service and I forget what the cost on it was.  However - what they did for our house....it was well worth any price that I would have paid.

"Josh painted the cabinets in my rather large kitchen as well as my front door and shutters. Josh was very prompt, courteous and professional. Not to mention his price was the absolute best. He arrived early, but waited until the scheduled time to knock on the door. He managed his time well and completed the job a day ahead of what was originally scheduled. It was originally my job to get the paint, which I forgot to do, but Josh had no problem going to the store and ordering the paint. He was very honest, leaving me the receipts and all the extra materials. Oh did I forget to mention parts of the base boards around the cabinets were cracked, he replaced them with no problem. I Will definitely be using his services again, in fact I already have another job lined up for him.

"My air conditioner unit is in the attic and normally when it is service the technician works on the unit in the attic, this technician worked on the outside unit which was unusual. However, he was able to get the air conditioner working properly."

"They came out when they said they would. They bring you in with low prices and then they want to charge you extra. It was a mediocre experience. They cleaned outside like they were supposed to. They were fast. They explained everything and showed me a video of everything they were supposed to do. But the hook was they got very, very pushy on telling me how I needed extra services. I kept telling them, "No, no, no. They wanted like $200.00 or $300.00. I said, "$80.00 is all I got, take it or leave it." And they finally took it. So it was a little high pressure. If you use them, be prepared to be charged extra."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"They came on one day and tore out the old dirty system and installed the new system...they replaced my original metal ducting pipes with a mylar, insulated soft piping.  I thought they would perhaps "upgrade" the disposition of the system and perhaps solve the problem that the downstairs was always cold,  but they just replaced the conduits that were already there...except for one which they said was "inaccessible."  At the end of the day, I noticed that there was no "return" for the air system and mentioned that.  That's when I realized that they weren't really interested in providing a thoroughly "new" system, but just replacing what was there, whether or not it had been adequate.  I was told that I would have to pay for the additional time to open up a return (apparently there was an old one, but it had been boarded over.)  I agreed to do that and paid two hundred and forty dollars separately.  I had wanted them to line the return, since it was just a wooden "trough," but they wouldn't do that.

In any case, the system works and is much cleaner than what I had.  I am not pleased that the exhaust for the propane has its vent under part of the deck and so the fumes go into the downstairs bedroom. 

There was an issue with getting the final inspection and when the county called me about it, I called the company and they agreed to pay the penalty fee that had been incurred.  The inspector passed the system, but said there should have been insulation on the piping near where the propane gets ignited.  Also, there was an issue with the draining situation at the side of the tankless water heater . 

It is now a few years since the work was done and I notice that the big soft tubing that goes from the main heater occasionally falls off and I tuck it back. I'm not sure how well the soft piping will hold up.

They were extremely courteous to me at the start of the job, but did not have patience for my complaints as the job progressed. But I am thrilled that they accomplished getting the system changed!
