The installation took a little longer than expected due to use of an inexperienced helper, but eventually it appeared to be a quality installation. They met my requests for minor modifications/enhancements to allow easier maintenance. Workers wore masks at all times, used drop cloths along walking paths and shoe covers, so the job was kept clean. Took time to explain system, installation and maintenance points. Were honest about risk of condensate pipe freeze-up and potential remedies, and "orphaned" water heater. Overall, quite satisfied with the equipment and installation. Awaiting finalization of punch list paperwork items."

Also installed a utility tub in my laundry room. I didn't even call done rite till maybe 11:00am. They came did all work and where out of here by 5:15. How is that for same day service. "A few weeks ago our gas hot water heater died. We had never used Valdel Plumbing before but were extremely impressed with the entire experience. We found them on Angie's list as being highly rated and there's a reason for it. We called them at 7:30 in the morning and by 11:30 AM had hot water and that's not exaggerating! Their specialist, Steve Ault was awesome and very knowledgeable. He quickly got to work dismantling the old unit. He even had a new heater and all the parts on his truck so there wasn't even a delay in waiting for parts or a new heater to be delivered. He also installed a drip pan, a pressure regulator and re-routed some of the exhaust piping for better venting. The price they charged seemed to be in line with the work performed. "They were summoned by my Home Warranty Company. The 75 fee is my required co-pay from the warranty co. My hot water heater is 15+ years old. They welded a pipe on the bottom of the leaking heater. Work was done right, it stopped leaking. 2 weeks later they were back for another leak, the relief valve. The hot water needs to be replaced but my warranty co wants it repaired if that is possible, so that's not Clear Water's fault. After the 2nd repair, we probably could have had it authorized for replacement but the "items not covered clause (again not the fault of Clear Water, set by warranty co) would have cost 400 - 500 dollars. The heater is gas powered and we would like to convert it to electric. We have an estimate of 895 for the whole job, and the type of heater we want. I think there charges for the extra items are high. There work and professionalism and punctuality were good but I can get that elsewhere for less. <br />"
