"Our corner pantry was the typical builder's grade with non-adjustable shelving and wasted space at both the top and bottom. I called Custom Closet Systems and the local franchise of a major closet company to provide estimates. The franchise representative spent some time looking at what I had in my pantry and made suggestions to accommodate those items. For example, I have a number of loose leaf teas in small tins and various wines used for cooking. She suggested dedicating narrow sections to each so they would be easier to access. I liked her plan and her price was about what I expected to pay. The wood grain finish cost more than the solid color, so we planned to place the wood grain on only the edge of the shelves and uprights, where it was most visible. The solid color would be used everywhere else. The following week, we visited Alfredo at the Custom Closet Systems showroom to look at corner shelving units, which I had never seen. I used the design the franchise rep came up with to make changes to his design. The wood grain finish I liked didn't cost extra here, so we used it throughout. Alfredo's price came in about $1000 less than the franchise's price, and included the wood grain finish plus some additional shelves. All work was done locally in this family-run business's shop behind the showroom. Installation was on time and very professional. They used paint to touch up the spots where the old shelves were removed. They even worked with me to decide where to position the pull-out drawers for maximum storage. The end result is so much better than what I lived with for 15 years. I wish I had done this a long time ago. I wouldn't hesitate to have Custom Closet Systems back for additional projects."

"I chose AR Iron based on the positive reviews on Angi. I called and they scheduled an appointment to measure the side yard and give me an estimate. I wanted a basic gate with mesh backing. He indicated that I would need a panel along with the gate and then provided me with an estimate for $1,080, half of which was payable when I ordered the gate. The balance was due at installation. I decided to order the gate and was told to allow about a month for the gate to be ready. About 3 weeks later, the company called to say that they would be out the following Monday to install the gate. The installers did a beautiful job and in less than an hour, I had my new gate. The gate and panel fit the space perfectly, and the installers cleaned up afterward, so it looks very nice. Very pleased with AR Iron's service."

"California Closet's service and scheduling has been deplorable. They scheduled my installation 5 - 6 weeks ago without alerting me to the date and confirming the date. When I happened to call them to check on scheduling and they shared the date, I said the date wasn't doable because I was closing after that date, they then pushed the date out 25 days. They acknowledged the issue on their side but have refused to take accountability for their mistake. I have spoken to about 4 different people, wasted multi hours, and still not an agreeable alternative has been provided. Don't work with California Closet unless you want to overpay and have them under deliver. BTW, I don't mind overpaying when companies deliver high quality product and service."

"I hired Furniture and Repairs Inc. to fix my power reclining sofa and after nearly three months, four visits from their tech and $500, the sofa was still not functioning properly. I hired another repairman who came the next day, identified the problem, and repaired the sofa. At no point, did they seem to have any interest in actually repairing my sofa or standing by their work. I cannot recommend them."
