"We hired Colton Lingle to turn our unfinished attached basement garage/workshop into a custom library with a window seat. It was a very comprehensive job with many different components (ex: removing/replacing garage door with interior/exterior wall and windows, HVAC access, installing lighting, installing/finishing/painting drywall and ceiling, custom made shelves, trimwork, flooring, etc). He researched what permits we needed and procured them for us. Then, every single day he turned up on time and worked all day until the job was finished, which was all done in a timely manner and with as little interference to our everyday home life as possible. His courtesy, good manners, and professionalism were unparalleled, and very greatly appreciated, especially considering the environment he had to work in, as we weren't even unpacked yet, and we have five large dogs, you can imagine the chaos. He cleaned up after his work and was very careful with all our things. He very generously even tackled a few other tiny projects around the house, as well as gave us good advice about maintenance and future projects in other areas of our home. The quality of his work is masterful. Our new library is flawless and beautiful, and it is precisely what we asked him for. We can't recommend Colton Lingle highly enough. You couldn't find a better contractor if you built him from the ground up yourself."

"I contacted David about a consult  in early March. He was friendly, professional, and punctual. He asked questions about new property lines; was very knowledgeable about building the wall and pointed out similarities and differences in the walls. He heard my concerns which is very important. <br /> He emailed his estimate which I thought was reasonable and advised me of a time frame for completion which was to be anywhere from 4-8 weeks; however, he was able to begin within 4 weeks. <br /> The crew arrived on time and worked hard each day until completed. It took 3 days to complete which was longer than originally planned due to some extra thick concrete to manage but there was no complaint or changes in our agreement.  <br /> The crew was meticulous and at the end of the day, the work area was cleaned and a safety tape put in place.  They were experienced and certified in building retaining walls and it showed...at the end of the 3rd day, the place was spotless and a perfect wall was in place.  I plan to do other projects over the year and I will definitely hire them again! <br /> <br /> <br />"

No unsupervised worker was present. He seemed to understand the particulars of the structure better than the other bidders. He was very affable and easy to deal with. "We bought the house and knew that we would need to spend money on landscaping because the property had been neglected. We got more than one estimate. All were about the same price, but Busy Bee was able to come sooner than other landscaping companies. They were delayed by a week or two, mostly due to the weather, finishing another job. Ed and his crew worked and got the job done in about two weeks. He came to check on the job almost every day, when he wasn't doing the specific work. Busy Bee planted 18 flowering azaleas, a Japanese maple and other plants that complemented the bushes, along the front of the house. They spent time cutting some scrub trees and doing a lot of trimming of existing bushes, opening up the areas in the yard that were overgrown, so the mature plantings would be visible. The thing I liked best was Ed's accessibility and on-site supervision. He would check in with us to make sure he was doing the job as we wanted. All plants are doing well and I will have a beautiful yard come spring. <br />"

"<p>Cecil responded quickly after I contacted him, came over to review the work needed, provided his estimate, and performed the work quickly.  I had just moved into an older house, and wanted the electrical work completed before I brought in painter, insulation contractors, etc..  As we discussed the work, Cecil made several suggestions to reduce cost and difficulties, and improve results.  In the end, the work included:  </p> <p>replace existing ceiling light fixtures throughout the house (I bought the lights in the living space and front porch, he bought the lights in the basement, closets, and stairs), <br /> <br />upgrade two prong outlets to grounded outlets throughout the house<br /> <br />add new lights in the kitchen, basement, stairs, and several closets<br /> <br />installed a doorbell and two hard wired carbon monoxide/smoke detectors<br /> <br />provided and installed a whole-house surge protector<br /> <br />install a new outside outlet in back</p> <p>Cecil was great at explaining what he was doing, and why he recommended changes.  He was here when he said he would be, did the work quickly and professionally, while also being very friendly and helpful.  I called him early this year for additional work (replacing the electric main panel), and will ask him to do more work.</p> <p>Why didn't I provide this rating sooner?  Back in January, I didn't see the option to rate a new contractor on the ratings page.</p> <br />"
