"We were very pleased with the staircase and railing construction completed by MGM Carpentry and highly recommend them for Carpentry and construction work. Mike worked efficiently completing the demolition of the previous stairs and railing in one day. He identified and corrected structural deficiencies from the previous construction and completed the remodel and finish work within the time he originally stated it would take to complete the job. He was even able to stay on-budget with the exception of the additional repairs identified during demolition. Even then, he discussed any changes early and found effective solutions that didn’t significantly increase the cost of completing the work. We are absolutely delighted with the quality and appearance of the finished staircase. He kept a tidy workspace and cleaned everything up very neatly once the job was completed. "The job was done exactly as we requested.  Although, we had to pay $50.00 for removal of five (5)  2x4's and three (3) smaller pieces of  2 x 4's;  which, seemed a little high.  He cleaned up ( upon completion).  He was very friendly.  Overall, we were very well satisfied with his work.

"Nosh is a true craftsman and an outstanding professional.  He provided a clear quote and stuck to it despite some unforeseen additional expenses.  His craftsmanship and professionalism is second to none.  He and his crew arrived each morning, worked hard, and cleaned up every day.  When more of the old stone was damaged than expected, he made MANY calls around to warehouses and was able to find an exact match to our 9 year old stone!!!  It's not just a match, even...it's the same stone.  It had be sitting in the warehouse for 9 years.  He bought what he needed for the job, advised us to get more for future repairs, and delivered it to our home.  I think we bought everything the warehouse had.  We'll never be able to find that stone again (as many masons have told us previously), but now we won't need to.  Most other contractors just don't put forth that extra effort to do the job right and make the customer happy.
When discussing other potential projects and details, he is very cost conscious while still having an eye on aesthetics.  He even came back after his work was complete to meet with carpenters to provide guidance on working around the remaining poorly installed stone.  We some of the caulking around the base of our backsplash had tiny holes after drying, he came back and fixed them.  We will definitely have Nosh back to repair more of the stone and do other masonry and tiling work.
Nosh has a bit of an accent, but it's really nothing...just a little extra patience when communicating over the phone.  With his skills and experience, this is the expert you want to do your masonry work!  Finding a true and honest craftsman like Nosh is 1 in 10,000 at least.

"These guys were great. Fred came out and gave me the quote. He was able to tell me exactly what was wrong and how he was going to fix it. I had other roofers that looked and couldn't tell where the leak was. His son and another man showed up to start the work. They removed my siding and shingles very carefully so it could all be reused after the repair. Then, Fred and the other guy showed up the following morning to complete the job. The picked up all the garbage and you could barely tell they were there.
I would definitely recommend Fred for any roofing work. I just may need him again when I buy my next house.
