"They were the best! Quick and efficient. They were able to locate three leaks in the pool and repaired them on the spot. It has been several weeks now and I only have the normal evaporation. Prior to the fix, I was losing about 5 inches in three days. I would recommend them to anyone."

"I used Total Home for a repair after meeting with a few different companies. Jason Smith was my project manager and he was knowledgeable, great with communicating before and during the repair when I had more questions, and very professional. I will be using Total Home again in the future when the time comes to replace the roof."

First Job - Dec 2015

I contacted Royal Painting initially to handle wood rot repair. I hired them to replace wood rot on front face of the garage. They removed rotting wood, replaced with pressure washed wood and painted trim. In addition, they pressure washed my driveway and the entire house. I never had the house pressure washed and was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. It brighten up the entire exterior. Lastly, the team cleaned out the gutters that were loonnngggg over due for a cleaning.

Overall the work for the first job lasted over a course of 4 days.

Second Job - Feb 2016

The pressure washing on the home revealed further wood rot on different areas of the house. They returned to replace wood rot on the front of the house above the porch and back of the house on the second story. The foremen was able to match the new paint with existing paint perfectly. It definitely helped that the house was pressure washed previously.

Overall the work for the second job took 3 days to complete (not counting days delayed to the rain).

REHIRE ? - Yes, I am already thinking of hiring the team for interior work ( remove wall paper, paint, tile replacement )

"Excellent. A J Wells Roofing is very professional and they did an awesome job. Mr. Wells is also a general contractor so he can do extensive repairs, which was necessary on our roof. Toney Poole was our salesman and our constant contact through the entire process and he did a great job. I would highly recommend them."

"KNS roofing responded to my call in one day. I own a two-story house with a complex roof. Within minutes, KNS knew what the problem was and immediately repaired the roof and stopped the leak. This was important because I was installing a new living room ceiling. The materials they used were modern and top-notch. They have more than thirty years of experience and it showed. They are friendly, professional, and wanted to solve my problem. I have used them twice and I have been satisfied both times. I highly recommend this roofing company."

I contacted David at British Masonry and sent him photos of some of the brick on our house. Apparently there had been settling which created cracks in the mortar. David sent Donnie over to make the repairs. He also inspected the entire outside of the house to make sure there were no other issues. We're very pleased with the work that was done.

"The painting crew got there early and worked to complete everything in time enough for drying so I could get other services in my home before the movers came later in the week.  The price was reasonable.  The three man crew was responsive and didn't waste any time.  The walk through went well and although one more item needs attention, I am sure it will be done to my satisfaction.

Mike, the owner, was easy to schedule with and generally responsive to phone calls.  Although I chose not to have the trim and doors done, I may consider that in the future.

FAQs for traditional stucco repair or partially replace projects in Hilliard, FL

Minor stucco fixes—like sealing small cracks or adding fresh caulk—often wrap up in an hour or two. Larger jobs that call for cutting out damaged sections, installing new lath, and layering fresh stucco can stretch to three or four days because each coat needs time to cure. A pro removes loose material, cleans and dampens the area, applies a bonding agent, and builds up new layers, matching texture and restoring the wall’s weather shield.

Watch for a stucco surface that stays damp days after a storm, develops dark stains, or feels soft or spongy under light pressure. Inside, moisture rings, peeling paint, or soft drywall around windows point to the same issue. Any of these red flags mean water is trapped behind the siding, and it’s time to call a stucco pro before rot or mold sets in.

Give your stucco a once-over every spring and fall. Semiannual checks let you catch hairline cracks, stains, or damp spots before they snowball into pricey repairs. Keep a flashlight handy, look closely around windows and doors, and call a pro if you notice anything soft or discolored. Staying ahead of minor issues protects both your curb appeal and your home’s weather barrier.

A pro starts by scraping away loose material, then cleans and lightly wets the area so new stucco will stick. After brushing on a bonding agent, they build fresh layers, letting each coat cure before adding the next. The final step is matching the texture and color so the patch blends in and the wall regains full weather protection.

Think of repair as a patch: the pro fixes only the visible crack or hole. Remediation goes deeper—crews strip away the compromised stucco, correct the root problem (often water or mold), then rebuild the wall. If tests show structural rot or trapped moisture, remediation is the safer, longer-lasting route; otherwise, a straightforward repair often does the trick.
