"When nicor told me at 1:00pm that I had two gas leaks in the piping feeding the water heater and that they would have to shut off the gas until corrected, I called Precision and they assigned the next available technician to us. Carl arrived around 5pm and assessed the problems and how best to fix them. He had to go to Home Depot to pick up some connectors, etc. and then started the job. He finished up around 8:30pm and I called Nicor. They came out and inspected the work and turned on the gas. They found NO leaks and started up our gas appliances. A long day. But a satisfactory finish."

"The water heater was much taller than the old one so he had to reconfigure the copper pipes. Had to tell him to wear the plastic covering on his shoes. The last time I had the water heater replaced the Installer put in a water shutoff valve & installed new copper pipes with the new heater for a little over $ 500.00 which is 1/2 the fee this time. It took about 4 Hours for the new installer. Overall though no problems."
