Another electrician, once he found out it was a detached garage, told me he would not do the trench work, and I would have to find someone else to do it. I told him not to both giving me a price. The trench work tuned out to be the hardest part of the job. In trenching to the garage, a massive root was uncovered; Alan handled it very professionally and did the necessary work to properly install the wire. I would defiantly recommend him he did the complete job, pulling permits, having the work inspected, the total installation and cleanup. I think you would be happy with his work."

"This is my second time around with Newton Exteriors and the experience was again very positive.  Frank Sullivan is very courteous, and busy, and despite a little phone tag got back to me in less than a week and gave me a rough estimate.  The rough estimate was fine, because he was not sure what he would find once he started opening up the gutters and railing system.  Luckily no ugly surprises and the work went very fast and the quality was very good.  His crew was juggling us and another project, but they finished the entire job in 3 days, which surprised us.
One of the things I like about Frank is he does what you want, and he doesn't try to sell you more service than what you need; he just gives you the options.  Additionally his judgment is excellent:  I explained we had a water problem in the front of our foundation, even after we installed a new sump pump.  Frank pointed out the lousy original installation of the gutters allowed water to seep down the front of the house.  However, he also had the idea to tilt the front gutter the opposite direction from where it had been emptying.  This allowed more effective run-off, and it was also the side of the house where the sump pump is stationed.  Genius!  We just had about 4" of rain in 3 hours and there's a lake in the backyard, but the basement's dry.
The deck looks great, the gutters work better than ever before, and as they were cleaning up they power washed the fence, side of the house and discolored portions of the front sidewalk. No doubt we'll invite Newton Exteriors back for future work."

"Mr. Response Electric showed up at 10am and I showed him my electric panel. He said that it need replacement, but that it had a 220 amp breaker and that it would require $2200 for the panel and installation. I decided that I didn't want to spend the extra $1350 and said that I didn't want the installation. He did not try to convince me. In general the visit was straightforward, in, quick discussion, and out. The next week I had another electrician to install a standby generator and he said the my current electric panel was fine and that I didn't need a new one."

"We didn?t use them for painting they put in a patio backyard and install a steel basement door.  It was good.  The overall experience was good.  They do all kinds of handyman work.  They were hard workers and they did a good job.  It?s a hard work the patio in the back required a lot digging and it looks good.  The door opens and closes smoothly, nice and it fit and patio is good.

It took them a while to get on the job but they were very busy and we are in a hurry but it took them a couple of weeks beyond but they thought they could through it but evidently there are in high demand.  The price is good.  The quality of work was good and those guys on the job backyard are very good, very professional."
