"I couldn’t be happier with the garage remodel this contractor did for me. From the first conversation, they were friendly, honest, and really listened to what I wanted. Throughout the whole project, they kept me updated, showed up when they said they would, and treated my home with care. The finished garage is better than I imagined; clean, organized, and truly transformed. It’s rare to find someone who takes this much pride in their work, and it really shows. I’ve already told friends and family about them, and I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor they can trust."

"<p>I found this contractor on Angie's list and left an email on 10/21.  Been trying to fix this leak for a couple of years and unable to stop it so wanted a professional contractor to fix it this time.  Got a phone message that evening saying he would call me in the morning...and he did!</p> <p>Came out that very afternoon to meet me at the house, and tested with a hose to try to replicate the leak. Of course it didn't leak while he was here, but I did find water later that evening. He quoted me $300 and proposed the following fix and I agreed.  </p> <p>Sent a crew out Friday to tear out the trim to check the siding and construction done by the builder above the door.  They did find where water was getting in around the ends of the drip edge where it had not been properly taped and sealed by the builder.  They tore off the trim above and on either side of the door and taped and sealed the edges of the drip edge and down the sides so water won't get in.  Reassembled the whole thing, filled the screw holes and you'd never know it had been taken apart. I will certainly call William F McMahon the next time I need a good contractor.</p> <br />"

"Jim Adam was very responsive to my request to build porch steps for my older home. Communication was excellent and he had a very good sense of what I was looking for and what I needed. Fully trusted, and received excellent craftmanship."

"<p>Everything went very well. Seamus knocked down 2 walls , put up a supporting beam, installed new hardwood floors, installed new cabinets, new counter tops,  new appliances, new lightning etc, etc Seamus and his assistant showed up on time every morning and worked non-stop all day.</p> <p>They completely sealed  off the new room so we were able to keep functioning in the other half of our kitchen. The most important thing that Seamus and I were able to communicate throughout the whole process so we both new what to expect. The entire renovation was completed in 3 weeks. Many other contractors we had received higher estimates from said it would be at least a 2 month project. Now our large family can all fit comfortable in our new kitchen !! And we love it. I will have Seamus back for many other projects in the future.</p>"

"Very please - highly recommend Bryce and Doyle. Generally the project went very well. The design was wonderful - definitely beyond the standard design but classic so it fit the character of our house and decor, while very easy to clear. We had a schedule of activities at the start. Schedule was adhered to pretty well. Contractors controlled the dust as well as could be expected. They cleaned up each day. Each of the individuals who worked on the project were very knowledgeable, pleasant and performed high quality work.  There were a few glitches which one might expect in a major project. Every issue we identified was addressed quickly. The owner of the company, Richard Doyle came over to inspect the work a number of times and responded to any questions or issues we had. The resulting bathroom far exceeded our expectations."

"The entire Rochester Colonial experience, from working with sales through the installation, was top notch. Our home is 26 years old and was in need of replacement windows and a door. Following hours of online research and in-person consultations with a number of local replacement window installers (including RBA, Pella) - we opted to spend a little more money and went with Rochester Colonial (Marvin Infinity windows and Therma-Tru Classic Craft door) for our job (20+ windows, including double hung, transom, and casements, and a new front door, sidelites, and half-round). Now, 1 week following installation, we couldn't be happier. The installation team was - efficient, receptive to our questions, kept a clean work-site, and had superb craftsmanship. I would recommend them highly."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Holley, NY

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
